Tbf most of them seem to be accepting that their team is on a bad run and condemning their own players for missing chances etc. It’s just a few that are bitter and say put goals were lucky or avoidable etc. If you want to dissect any goal you could make an arguement for any goal being avoidable but they were class finishes not from mistakes

Just watched the highlights on YouTube.

Very clever goal by Vardy, I have to admit. But piss poor defending by us for their second. You simply cannot allow Mahrez to cut inside on his left foot like that. You have to close him down or push him down the outside.

But the chances we missed!!.....if we’d taken half of them we’d have won.

I get what you say with Mahrez but so many goals you could say that. Take the 6-1 last season, at least 2 or 3 of Kane’s goals he was given too much time to take the shot. Doesn’t take away from the finishes but from the defending teams point of view you can always see a fault or improvement

Didn't get in until late last night ... very entertaining game tbf

We were great in the first half ... incredibly high tempo but also some lovely intricate play. Two fabulous goals. It's all very well saying Mahrez shouldn't be allowed so much time etc but actually trying to stop him is much tougher ... it's what real quality players do to you. Vertonghen was already on a yellow so he had to be wary and Rose must have been walking a tightrope for a yellow at that point. Mahrez actually started the move on the edge of his own box - similarly Vardy's goal was a great build-up (and brilliant intuitive finish)- Maguire certainly helps with his creativity from the back..

We are looking good as the Iborra / Ndidi is really starting to flourish in midfield. Also thought Chilwell showed why he is so highly thought of by the club.

Thought Spurs were very good in patches but they did switch off at crucial moments.

As a team we are still a work in progress - but on our day we have real attacking threat and I think we might well surprise a couple of the big boys in the return fixtures if we continue to develop as we are doing.

You were superb in that first half. Looked like the Leicester in the title winning season. Thought you did well to keep spurs out after they pulled one back too. All round top performance and a big 3 points.

Doesn’t look good for @Hoddle Is A God with his bet with you. But at least he’s found his stones and confirmed that he’s reaffirmed his bets. <ok>

The 6-1 is a bit of a red herring ... we'd lost both Morgan and Huth and Benny was in self destruct mode and was having a mare ... reminded me of a budget version of David Luiz for Brazil in the world cup semi final against Germany .... he completely lost it and was anywhere but where he was supposed to be position wise - Spurs were very good mind ... but last night's defence would not have gone down by that score.

Heres a classic for you TLL from the spurs board <laugh>

"Why do teams always raise their game against us?
Why do teams always score from their only chances against us?
Why do defenders not make mistakes against us like they do for other teams?
Why do we always buy dud strikers?
Why can't we put the ball in the back of the net when we dominate?
    Why do refs hate us?
Feel free to add to the list . I know there are hundreds more....."

Nothing wrong with dissecting our own team's performance...the if's and but's....everyone does that. There's a difference between that and making excuses.

Every goal comes from some form of error from the opposition so there is no point in dissecting the millimetres between error and perfection.

Lesta certainly deserved it and I wasn't surprised...hence why I'm not really down about it.

Let's see how we deal with our problems...best thing is Lamela is back for us.

Yeah, i'm actually a sentient AI program so i can switch myself off with chelsea lose or when we win i put it back on.

Don't get me wrong, i will slate our players when they need slating but i'll at least put down why they need a go at and dissect our performance.

The above was a meltdown of epic proportions. Half of the stuff above is probably not true:

Why do the refs hate us, teams only score their 1 chances against us, defenders not make mistakes against us <laugh>

Thats Arsenal Fan TV material right there

True, true once the thoughts have settled you can only look at your own team.

Oh definitely, was a one off as shown last night. My point was around some saying Mahrez’s was a soft goal as they allowed him onto his left and didn’t close down. My point was that that happens all the time and the reason I mentioned the 6-1 is because I remember some of Kane’s goals in that game were soft by that logic

Not only that but Sanchez seems more interested in thuggery than football and looks incredibly wooden.

Thought he was woeful and Vertonghen couldn't readjust when Spurs put Dier in midfield.

Vertonghen was far too interested in Mahrez, left no end of space for Vardy and Okazaki.

Spurs are so brittle without Alderweireld, we were informed that Dier could do the job but evidently not. TA is their backbone and they need him.

I mentioned many times they need to have a ruthless winning mentality to get through the times when their best players are not fit, once again we see them displaying none of it, it all comes across as a bit weak.

Levy is dreaming with his silly numbers on these boy's heads.
