What next, sanchez fouled sanchez? :p

the 2nd offside i will give you as thats so close advantage goes to the keeper. How about just dominated them is good enough but nope lets see it fully through the wenger specs

Most fouls or penalties are subjective calls by the referee. The only mugs are the ones that think they know for sure what the call should be.

Arsenal fall foul of referees more than most teams, but there is always a huge double standard when the commentary team are discussing Arsenal. When we give away a penalty the play is shown in slow motion and there is a long discussion on whether there was any contact. "See there, Bellerin just brushes his leg". and so on.

Ramsey gets a two-handed push in the back that snaps his neck back, and there is no slow motion replay to see if contact was made. Suddenly contact isn't important; Ramsey had his leg broken into pieces and twats were arguing that it wasn't even a foul.

Why don't you just admit you are trolling the board and piss off.

What about the Bellerin penalty that wasn't given? No? The only penalties that don't count are the ones given for us yeah? Got it. Definitely not on the WUM.
Don't get obsessive now. The penalty were given was much too soft and might have beens don't count. What I'm saying to you is that your forwards are misfiring if you have to rely for points on offsides and penalties, that's all.

Much too soft? It was a clear push and foul. Wum numpty.

Might have beens don't count? And yet 'given but might not have beens' DO count? Wum numpty.

What you're saying to me? Cheers dude, I really value the opinion of a forum random... I'll be sure to pass it onto the arsenal squad when I see them next.

Trolling the board? which part was trolling? that mustafi was offside (its in black and white that he is).

When has anyone said Ramsay getting his leg broken wasn't a foul <doh>.

The only person trolling is yourself, no one else has an issue with what i have said. If you are not happy with it @PISKIE can resolve what he feels is deliberate wumming. Just because i'm pointing out your obvious biasness doesn't mean i'm trolling you.

This is genuine comment and not provocation Arsenal. Your last 6 points have been by 2 offside goals and a dubious penalty so I think your forwards had better find their form quite quickly because luck like that won't last.

We lost the game at City because of a dodgy pen and and offside, so the luck swings each way.

I thought it was a dodgy pen on sterling initially but think someone said nacho takes sterlings legs away from him (accidently but still).

Deffo offside though, City always fluking out on you guys.

I can see why it was given, but I thought it was harsh.

We got a bit lucky with first goal against spurs, not because it was offside, but for the tackle on Sanchez, although Sanchez (the soiled spurs one) does go through the back of him, so again you can see why it was given.

The pen against Burnley was 100% all day long though. The defender had both hands on Ramsey’s back and pushed him as he was going up for a header 3 yards in front of goal.

We've done this Sanchez dance piskie :p. Sanchez gets the ball first. Also mustafi was offside but its marginal and i've not issue with the benefit going to the attacker as we should be promoting attacking football. My issue was that someone said it wasn't offside at all

As for the Pen on ramsay, theres not been a good video on it (to see how much of a push there is) but its stupid of tarkowski to put his hands on ramsay. What i noted was Ramsay dived down to win the penalty i.e. he could have stayed on his feet but thats a mute point.

Soft Pen but understandably given just as Niasses was. Just the FA have opened a can of worms banning Niasse as he was impeded and there was contact even if he dived down to make sure he won the penalty.

P.s. ramsay was never going to get to the ball but tarkowski was stupid to put his hands on him

There still isn't clear enough video on this pen, so it's hard to tell whether he dived or shoved hard enough to warrant his falling forward. What is clear is that Ramsey wasn't going anywhere or a real goal threat. We were lucky to get 3 points with that pen.

Regarding the Sanchez tackle, if you go through the back of somebody, then even if you get the ball, you still run the risk of giving away a free kick.

I’ve seen the ‘offside’ from the free kick a hundred times and I would say level. The angle they freeze the play is slightly behind the attackers but if you look at the lines in the grass Mustafi is level.

Of course if all of this happened the other way around and had benefitted spurs, then I would be screaming blue murder :)

Maybe i need to re-watch it but he had his arms out you know the way Ashley Young does but yes you are right, theres not very good videos of it so saying he dived is probably too strong of a word

Refs might give it, but i think the consensus is that its a tackle and its clean (you see it all the time when players get it before the man in the box). If that was an arsenal player on a spurs one you'd have not called it so i'm not sure why we need to make a justification for it. Just be happy that the ref called it in your favour is all i say :P

Spurs currently losing 2-0 to Leicester. Vardy and Mahrez with the goals.

I've not been watching the game, but based on the BBC updates, it seems like Leicester are playing identical to how they did during their league-winning campaign. If Spurs lose this, I'm not sure where that leaves them. Will the confidence dissipate? Have their players lost motivation seeing City so far ahead? Or is it just defensive naivety? Either way, you'd have thought they'd potentially be getting more than 1 point from the Arsenal, West Brom and Leicester matches beforehand.

Bye bye, Tottenham......

I think their NLD defeat to us has started to unravel their PL season. I think I may have overestimated them. They seem to suffer from their usual weakness of falling apart. Looks like we started St Totteringham day again <laugh>

Just a feeling that we lost top 4 today (last year we lost it by 1 point and got a feeling it will be the same this year with liverpool). We drew in the last minute and liverpool just won in the last minute. F**K!

Looks like Liverpool are ripping City a new one. Looking forward and not looking forward to seeing match of the day. Liverpool out classing the best team in the league and us going from bad to worse.

Sounds like a cracking game between Liverpool v Spurs. But controversially Spurs get two penalties and apparently Lamela gets a particularly soft one in the last minute of the game. Have to watch this on MOTD.

At least both teams drop points. Hope Chelsea continue with their poor form. It would be ironic if Giroud is the player to help them to top 4...
