McCoist started at 20-1. Yesterday 8-1. Today 5-1. Hmmm

I don't think Lambert is a bad shout

All day long, But doubt we could get him, real potential to manage Arsenal down the line. Certainly being groomed for a long career at that club imo.

Doubt we'd stump up for Lambert like. Could be wrong.

I wouldn't mind him, tbh. I think Stockdale at 16/1 is a good bet. If he pulls us out of the bottom 3, they could well stick with him.

Isn't this a similar situation as Sbragia or whatever his name was?

    That didn't work out well.

Sorry mate, can't help being negative at the minute.

Ally McCoist: Not many Alistair's over here, Ally is a very popular girl's name though.

Short will take the cheapest option which currently has to Stockdale.
How did we ever get into this mess?

Stockdale said he doesnt want it.

    Bain said fundamental change needed.

I might be wrong but I interpret that as a foreign coach and a totally different approach to the outdated Moyes/Grayson way

I maintain Karanka should be the first man we speak to.

Would love us to think outside the box and speak to Armin Veh or Markus Weinzierl to see if they'd be interested.

Then the likes of Paul Lambert, Hurst and McLeish

Careful what you wish for, Karanka's English is terrible, I can't understand a word he says and his tactics are worse the O'Neil and Moyes combined.
Ask the Boro fans how good it was to watch his defensive style of football, if you think watching 3-3 draws under Grayson was bad on the nerves then get ready for loads of 0-0 and 1-0 games under Karanka.
