As you might imagine, Ehab has taken a carefree approach to the law and has simply distilled the tribunal down to money.
In the confusion Ehab employed the best Barista in the country. He'll lose the case but at least he'll have the best cup of coffee he's ever had.
angus young @angus_young61 Ehab still claiming @groundsmenhull's Darrell Cook was working for Hull FC in SMC time based on recorded movements around stadium. angus young @angus_young61 Barrister for @groundsmenhull says consultant hired by Ehab to look at state of pitch after Silva comments said it was "in good condition"
What an embarrassing day for Hull City when the chairman's bizarre obsessions and inverted sense of business priorities sees him involved in this PR disaster. Hopefully his mother or someone close to him can take him to one side and talk through this stupid course of action with him. Maybe the penny will drop but I'm not holding my breath.
. Unfortunately he is so far up his own backside, the penny will never drop. You can bet your life, he will come out with some bullshit that it was a moral victory for him.
angus young @angus_young61 Barrister: 'You are relying on inferences that Mr Cook is doing something wrong.' Ehab: 'I am relying on my logical assumptions' I don't think tribunal's take assumptions over facts. What a clown.
Ehab and logical in the same sentence, the very definition of an oxymoron (remove the oxy and you have the definition of Ehab too).
Afternoon session begins... angus young @angus_young61 Back after short lunch break. Tribunal judge now questioning Ehab Allam.
angus young @angus_young61 Ehab:" If he (Cook) had said I've been doing it for years and didn't realise it was wrong, would I have given him another chance?" 1/2 angus young @angus_young61 Ehab: "More than likely, yes. I am often too soft on myself." 2/2 Kinnel.
Don't know how old you are, but Roy Dotrice's recent passing reminded me of that very funny series Misleading Cases from the 1970s where he was a lawyer and also featuring another great actor, Alastair Sim, as the judge.. Probably a bit too subtle for today's audiences. The writer, A P Herbert would probably have been able to get enough material for 2 or 3 episodes from these goings on in court.
