Haha! We’ll obviously try to do better than that. But there can be no excuses for tonight. We had them tied up and ready for the oven, then backed off and paid the price. I’m pissed off! And I imagine some of our players will be experiencing an Argentinian hairdryer blast.
There is no curse, Candyman. Poch experimented with his squad to find its weaknesses, and he found them. It's what he does with that knowledge, and how the team reacts that counts. For a team in transition to World beaters - which Spurs is - it sometimes takes these kinds of "safe" games to get the lads to re-focus.
Would just like to say that I read none of that and by your own warped logic you are now the worst team in the league. Well done. You'll never win anything and your best players will leave to play for a decent team. I say decent and not world class as clearly decent is a step up.
Of course he did **** If that dozy Argy doesn't know the depth of his squad after three years its time to pack it in.
I’ve rolled to too thin an all, ****ing hell was well looking forward to it too. No spare eggs. Game over.
No he didn’t. He would have put that team out believing it could win. He rotated the squad as most PL managers do, to rest some senior players.
We do have a tendency to switch off in games. I hope tonight's very disappointing result will drill that into them. Well done West Ham.
