This was a disappointing result if taken at face value. But, keeping it all in its proper perspective, Poch did make seven changes to the team that humiliated 'Pool, so it isn't surprising that this kind of upset has occurred. We have to give praise to Poch for doing what a lot of managers in his position are too afraid of doing, which is to give the youngsters their chance. Ultimately, it is that that makes us strong. Well done to the Spanners for not giving up. I hope this gives them the confidence, under Bilic, to revive their fortunes in the league. As for us, I hope that it gives Poch the ammunition he needs to put a rocket up several arses, and to remind the first XI that nothing is ever to be taken for granted against Prem opposition.
