Steve Bruce has decided to 'go public' with his desire to "break the bank" to sign Josh Onomah on a permanent contract. That's disappointing. A little consideration of our position wouldn't seem to be too much to ask, would it?

Bruce can say and do whatever he likes. Josh Onomah's not for sale, certainly not for a price that Aston Villa can afford. However, I wouldn't be keen to repeat such a loan to a club and manager that can't behave with a bit of respect to its betters. Not impressed.

But Bruce should know by now that if Onomah
is believed to have a bright future by the club.
