Agree. Madrid is toughest city in Europe to conquer these days. Atletico had keep clean sheets in 16 out of their last 19 home CL games when we won there.

It is the hardest place to score in Europe. Think they only conceded 7 league goals 15/16 season.

This thread is about Spurs, not Chelsea.

Think the last home loss was to Milan in 2009?

It remains the last home loss too, as Poch put his sixth defender on, Rose for Llorente, along with 3 DMs, to ensure a point.

That loss stat only means something if you won there. You didn't.

You drew. Dortmund drew there last season too. So you are the first team to er, draw there, since, er, Dortmund last season.

Levante, Valencia also drew at the Bernabeu last month. Betis won there

Can you not just give them credit on a job well done?

Just banter, my hoisted canard!

When we first started our legendary Champions league adventures, we drew 1-1 in Milan in the Group stages of the CL in the late 90s.

I went, along with 6k Chelsea.

It meant a lot to us, we even sing about it now: Oh Dennis Wise, Scored an effing great goal, at the San Siro, with ten minutes to go....

So, Spurs being CL newbies, I understand, it is a big deal for them

Plus you've won it.

When Spurs started theirs, we lost 4-3 against the defending champions
at the San Siro when playing over 60 mins of the match 10 vs 11.

The next time we went back 4 months later, we beat AC 1-0 while
contending with an injury ravaged squad.

So yes, I can see why that 1-1 means so much to you.

It helps when you go in person and see the match live.

You were 4-0 down v Inter and 4-1 down until injury time; the late goals were mere consolations
