  3. Real Madrid are planning a £150m move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, 24. (Daily Mirror)

    However, Tottenham will demand £200m for the England international. (Times)

    How desperate is this!
    <laugh>

    Who said we'd "demand £200" for Kane?

    So, some hack, looking for a sensational story with Spurs as the fall-guys, rings up Levy and asks, "How much would you sell Kane to Real for, Danny?" and we're all meant to believe that Levy said, "They can have him for £200 million!"
    <doh>

    Don't these dickhead hacks realise, by now, that the public knows exactly what Levy's like?

    Levy has consistently said, with regard to every single one of his key players, that they are not for sale "at any price."

    What part of that do these hacks not understand?

    Kane has said he won't leave Spurs. Poch has made it clear that he loves Kane. Levy has had every single Spurs fan on his back for several seasons, before Kane, to find us a World class striker, and has never willingly sold a key player to anyone.

    Is there any muppet on this forum willing to bet me their avatar (for a month) that Kane will still be with us next season?

    I tell you what, I'll bet you 3-1 that he'll still be here. That's me serving 3 months with an avatar of your choice if I lose, and you serving only one.

    Any takers?

    ... "these dickheads" completely understand that, next to them, Daniel Levy is about as significant in the football hierarchy as a fart in the Cerne Hadron Collider ... and that is all, Quentin <laugh>

    ... he's obviously keen to emulate Arsene Wenger's longevity at the goons, Quentin... although possibly without the silverwear <whistle>

  8. Real Madrid 1 v 1 Spurs

    This is a game we could and should have won, but I will take the point, against the European Champions.

    Spurs top Group H.

    Of course, when Spurs were drawn in this group, the 'Pede were pulling one another's tiny cocks in a massive mutual jerk-fest, predicting all kinds of embarrassments, forgetting, of course, that we are not Arsenal.

    Only time will tell what this young beautiful Spurs side is capable of, but for now every single one of you, please kiss the badge, my sons! You thoroughly deserve it.

    I agree Madrid were there for the taking. But you need to carry on playing for 90 mins, look at Chelsea attacking til the end and getting a winner in Madrid.

    You already had 5 at the back and 3 DMs (did Eriksen cross halfway). Did you need to sub Llorente and bring on a sixth defender?

    To dare is to dream, my ass!

    Yep, they played 5-3-2, Eriksen as a DM. And brought Rose on for Llorente: 6-3-1
