I've been greedy and picked a "most talented" team and "contributed most" one.

Most Talented XI

Shilton
Golac Wright Svensson Bale
Ball Schneiderlin Le Tissier Armstrong
Keegan Shearer

Contributed Most XI

SKD
Dodd Fonte Lundekvam Benali
Paine Williams Le Tissier Holmes
Channon Lambert

Strewth no Charlie George? Or maybe Chivers? Davis maybe.....Georgie O’Brian?

I'm quite young compared to others on here I guess so mine would be more modern:

------------------Niemi--------------------
Ostlund----Svensson---VVD----Bridge
Mane----Schneiderlin----Marsden-----Bale
------------------Lallana-----------------------
------------------Beattie-------------------------

Why not just post your own team?...:)
To be honest I was just making the point
You obviously didn't read my post, there is a most talented team and a most contributed one....

I’m not disputing your choice at all,, I’m sorry if it came across that way. I was just offering a few others and in truth there is still more. All of which were very talented in their own way. That is why I find it so difficult to form a single team. Naturally we all had our favourites over the years.........

Just in case you haven't clicked on the link you have to pick from the players listed. The criteria was apparently:

To qualify, players need to have represented the club after 1945 and have made 150 or more appearances, unless they are deemed to have made a particularly special contribution or significant impact during their time with Saints. Current players are not included in the vote.

.................Shilton.................
Golac.....Wright.......Killer.....Holmes
........Williams.......Scheiderlin
....Channnon..Le Tiss..Keegan..
................Davies............................

Subs: Niemi, Nicoll, Mills.S, Ball, Paine, Chivers, Wallace.R.
