It's Liverpool v Man Utd this weekend then we play them both one after the other in the PL. These sort of sequences often follows Spurs throughout the seasons and I don't know if they're good or bad omens or just coincidences. Now a win against Bournemouth and I mean a good win sets us up nicely for the next three very difficult matches, matches I just would not like to predict. Liverpool have had the better of it recently and at Wembley I don't feel good but I'm confident of a result at Trafford.

I hope you are right, a guy who works at Kigali airport for KLM bet me US$100 that Manure will take 6 points off Spurs this season. I'm next in Kigali on the 21st December, if he doesn't want to pay me I'll take a free upgrade to Business Class instead, he's the guy on the computer handling the bookings so it shouldn't be much of an issue. A draw at Old Toilet would do for me to win the bet, but a victory would be the icing on the Christmas cake.

Far be it for me to break up this United goalkeeper love in, but Arsenal seem to be making progress in in extending Mesut Ozil's contract. Short of Wenger committing to another 5 years, this is the best of good news. Now, extend little Theo's contract and the job's a good'un.

I've got some bad news on this front, the goons are bringing in Overmars as DoF (I guess Danny Rose turned the job down) and Wenger has previously said that he won't work with a DoF, so I see the likelihood of some changes there or a large dose of poisoned lasagne at the training camp. To make things worse, Overmars is currently employed at our feeder club, Ajax, I hope they don't get first shout on the youngsters coming through. Looks like the goons are resorting to Henry Norris tactics.
If we progress in out-performing the Goons in the PL
each season, or they now have a regular dose of
"Spursday" football, then they will not be an attractive
proposition to Ajax players regardless of Overmars
or Spurs wage structure.
Save us! The sky favourite narrative is in full swing, for example:
1) It doesn't matter how many times in the last N seasons we've finished above Liverpool, matches like this will always be talked in terms of whether this might end the Liverpool "title challenge" regardless of how unlikely that is.
2) It doesn't matter how **** previous matches between these teams are, it will always be described as a "cracking" game, or words to that effect.

Yep, 6 league goals this season so, if you ignore Sterling (5), Jesus (4) and Sane (3), they totally rely on him.
