He would walk straight into our team imo, so in that sense yes, he is better than out current attacking options - with the exception of Gabbiadini, who can't seem to get a start at the moment. As for wage expectations etc, I agree that could be an issue, but I'll let the club worry about this. It's all hypothetical at the moment, and there is no hypothesis by which he wouldn't be an asset on the pitch. Marinating my arse as we speak.
He's a better player than people give him credit for. The thing I like the most about him that he's always making runs behind the back line, and we lack players that do that. If we have a chance of getting him, we should go for it.
I think he would be the perfect foil for Gabbiadini. Not only is he quick and can score goals, he has been playing in a team that plays an intricate passing game. He could be the player we need who will not only see Gabbiadini’s runs but have the ability to get the ball to him.
This sounds like the Oxo rumours last time. Player needs a move, *journalist looks for easy link to other club* and bingo. In reality , would any of us really take a significant cut in salary when there a more profitable options?. Can't see it. The only time these things come off is when a player is past his best and can fit on the bench, like Rooney. Far too much football left in Theo. wrt the arse eating, you do realise that it would have to be removed first? Messy business, best retract that offer just in case.
£30m plus Walcott and Giroud. (For me that would be good for footballing reasons. But for some, that would be good enough just to stop Ron taking Giroud to Everton)
Walcott can play right wing which would be handy as we don't have a right winger. Some pace on the counter which we just don't have either.
The thought of using the Dutch Sulk to our advantage has real appeal. Personally, I can't see this arse eating happening.
