Spurs' Wembley woe continues
The lucky midweek victory against Dortmund was only Spurs' second win in 12 matches at Wembley, and if it were not for Fabianski's saves they would have finally enjoyed a league win under the famous arch.

But Spurs have now failed to score a first-half goal in all three of their home league games this season.

Burnley and Swansea have both earned points on their visits to Wembley, while Chelsea dry humped them 2-1.

HIAG - your comparison against last season isn't accurate.
Last season - you had drawn against Everton & Liverpool after 5 games and had 10 pts.

This season you have drawn against Burnley & Swans in your New home & have 8 pts in 5 games.

I see the Swans as being a better side than 'Pool, this season.

And we've already demolished Everton.

I'm not sure what your point is, Candyman?

Swans better than Pool, yeah right <doh>

Everton were playing top 4 footy last season this time.
This season they are playing relegation footy.

You don't see obvious flaws in your start? you can continue to be foolish HIAG, you are a natural.

Stop being so rattled, Candyman!

This is only a footy forum. It's here for all of us to express opinions and to raise points for debate.

Nothing's real. Think of me as being nothing more than a conduit.

Harry Kane has admitted what everybody else already knows, that his future may lie away from Spurs

Tottenham star Harry Kane refuses to rule out move to Spain after Real Madrid interest

“I would never say no,” he replied. “. I think in football, you never know and you never rule out anything. It is not something that I definitely want to do but it could happen. You just never know.

A month ago Kane added: "I'd love to stay here. The club is in great shape at the moment, and we're going forward as a club, and that's important.

"As long as there's a vision with the club, and we're not stale, we're going forward as a club. At the moment, we're an excited group of young players with a great manager, great training ground and a new stadium coming too. I'd love to stay here for the rest of my career."

Obviously changed his mind then.

What would you do? 80k plus yid bonus or 300k plus bonus at RM a bit of a no brainier really. I know Kane is intellectually challenged but he can’t be all that stupid...can he?

He has to be seen to be saying the things that his club and fans want, i.e 'I'm happy here, I hope we go to develop.. etc'. Same old line that all players use before they are snapped up by the big clubs.

This is the first time that Kane has openly said that his future may lie away from Spurs though. It doesn't really come as a surprise though, I don't think many players would turn down Real Madrid and he'd be a fool to spend his whole career at Spurs when he could play at the very highest level.
