Hmm not sure how long it's been since it got speared ... the sense of time in the show is really unclear and kind of irrelevant now it's become so unclear
So the boys and Dany sailed to King's Landing from Eastwatch at the end of the last episode. I reckon that's more like a few weeks travel than a couple of days
But also, where in the timeline is the NK attacking the wall, before the big meet in King's Landing even happens, at the same time as that, after that ?? It's impossible to tell and as I said before any sense of logic and temporal movement is totally gone at this point
As far as I can tell seems like wights continue to decay a bit after they are raised by the NK, again what the rate of decay is and how they can do things like breathe flame or scream and sprint is unexplained
What I could tell is NK has total power over that dragon, as he presumably does over all the other walkers and the wights so he uses his mind/magic/necromancy to control them so he can make the dragon breathe flame as long as he wants, until it starts to burn itself out or whatever happens when a dragon gets exhausted of flame. Maybe his magic means it never gets exhausted. Again, who the **** knows, they obviously don't care about this. Guess they just think the average viewer is dumb as ****, mindlessly zoned out to the show and not capable of deconstructing it
it took yer man gendry a while to run back and send a raven... what.. it took them a day walking so he ran a marathon back to the wall.. assume jon snow took 4 hours on a horse before getting there... then they got on a ship... then whatever time it took set up this meeting...
we know that the unsullied could get from the rock to kings landing to stand there etc... it must a couple weeks.
Yes... the wall coming down was intentionally made the last scene of series to dictate that is where the show is going. Everyone is marching towards winterfell realistically.
There's "wear and tear" on the wights. bits fall off and get broken off etc. we've no idea how old some are.
how do regualr dragons do the regular fire like... who knows... one would ASSUME the same mechanism is at play.
IMO they have taken seriously liberties in having 7 shows not 10 in their timings. we've not seen how long its taken say the unsullied to sail to the rock for instance we see them having farewell cunnilingus then the next episode they are there... they they are not heard off. the timing jumps about. Dorn is never shown getting taken by anyone at all... jsut that the heads of the dornish are taken out... then you have high garden getting it... but somehow some part of lannisters get to kings landing with the gold but the food wagons get caught out but there is literally no time between them getting high garden and in effect the ambush by the dolthraki... the time to march across the country was made to seem like instant.
they are obviously "relying" on ravens communicating instantly across vast distances. to convey information... somehow... like ravens can get back and forth between locations without necessarally ever beign there before.
let me put it this way.... NORMALLY you'd assume that there has to be some central point where these ravens go to.. ie kings landing or old town... eg. i fly from winterfell to old town and old town sends the message on to dragon's rock.
what bird knows to fly from winterfell to dragon's watch... what raven did deanrys bring with her cos there was nothing at dragons rock!!!
the whole communication system is balls. Jon sends a note in his own hand writing by raven... ok... the raven flew from where to where?
