Spoiler: got remember the twins? the north could be cut off from the south... plus she has the green fire. plus she has ships. she can get dragon glass and her pet meister might just have something in hand and the whole 20k of the golden company out matches the unsullied and northern armies put together.
Spoiler: spolier its not exactly tough stuff the things that don't add up for me are: 1. if the night king can use chains to putt a dragon out of the ice water... somehow and some of the dead were alive under the water and grabbed thormund... the entire they can't swim doesn't add up. why would he not have sailed a ship round the wall 8000 years ago.. 2. if little finger is dead then its patently obvious how cercei dies. arya in a mask cuts her throat posing as little finger. 3. jamie has no mates at all... of on his tod... come on.... ridiculous. 4. what the **** is euron greyjoy actually for.. why is he posing as a jack sparrow... jesus he's total ****. its the worst character in the whole show imo. just makes no sense how they've played him 5. we are expected to believe cercei faked the whole thing and had euron prepped to walk off... meh.... 6. we are expected to beleive she counts dragons and figures out one is dead so that means the whole lot are beatable but she didn't know before she counted yet had euron prepped... yeah right...
Spoiler where'd you get that from? All sources indicate the dothraki number up to 100k with 8k unsullied and what 2k northern army? So risen up from the dead even with burning and Dragon glass losses that's a 200k army she'd face. Ships are great against the living...not the dead. They're for deployment and keeping supply lines open...dead don't need either. Where can she get Dragon glass from? Green fire? Fair enough for the dead except it's not exactly safe for quick transport and will it work on the WW?
Why we putting spoilers up, its more than 24hrs now no more need for them 1. Obviously the dead can exist under water, they're dead so they're not going to drown. As to swimming, well it seems they would just sink to the bottom or float on the surface and be washed by the currents. But who actually knows seems Jon was guessing more than knowing. 2. Why would Cersi let Littlefinger close to her, he's known to have declared for the North along side the Vale. 3. I assume he's riding to meet whats left of the Lannister armies or just to join up with Tyrion up North. 4. He's self centred and supposed to be a mad arsehole. 5. Probably, she's gone power mad. She never had any intention to help against the WW. Again she's another self centred character who can't see the bigger picture. Seems she was just playing along in order to get rid of her competition while she regrouped. 6. Yeah that doesn't make much sense, but then she has always believed the dragons were beatable even after Jaime told her they would lose any war. Again she's mad on her own power.
Cos it was only last night and if I complain about people spoiling the bear scene then I should not spoil anythi g for others
Spoiler: Spolier Cercei met with little finger only recently in the show timeframe. Little finger could well actnlike he has taken the north for her through treachery. Jamie ****ed off on his own and covered the golden hand suggesting he is on his tod. Euston could have been 1000 times the character, he is piss compared to Ramsey. Ramsey was given the luxury of a thorn to torture for a year or two to develop. Euron is wedged in and hammnig it up The cercei bit is being built as she is 3 steps ahead and domehow knows what is coming even though its physically impossible. In the end her position in the game is as a spoiler at the end imo... no happy endings. I can see Aryan doing her but only after she tops someone like deanrys or Jon. Should be fjn
Spoiler When did he meet Cersei? he's been in the North and Vale for ages now. He hasn't been back to Kings Landing since before Sansa's wedding to Ramsay, that's a long time ago and since the Vale has supported Jon in his reclaiming of Winterfell. Just don't see why Cersei would trust a man with dubious allegiances that she doesn't trust to begin with. The I suggest Jaime is ****ing off on his own to head North with Tyrion Don't think Cersei is 3 steps ahead, just that she has her own plans and dammed with anyone else. And she did know they were coming to talk about WW, she she probably thought was BS but if they believed it then perhaps she could get rid of them to the wall while she did her own thing
Spoiler: spoiler remember she sent for him. its not taht long ago mate... not in game time. all they need is arya close to cercei an his face is perfect for this. let cercei believe little finger manipulated the whole thing up there.
1. Wights can obviously survive underwater as they are dead so can't drown. I imagine they can carry out a task like attach chains to the dragon but can't swim 2. Arya killing Cersei is certainly in play but I don't think Lyttlefinger is the right guise ... maybe Jaime or something 3. That was soon after the big meeting so presumably he's off to join up with Jon and Dany's crew where he'll say he thinks Cersei has lost it and wants to help out 4. Agree the character feels tacked on ... he's there to facilitate Theon's redemption 5. Think that Euron went off-script there and presumably met her afterwards to explain and concoct the plan to go and hire the gold cloaks. Why would they not show this though, happens a lot in the show 6. I think we just have to say she's presuming one is dead or inactive somehow, pretty stupid without evidence or actual info but plenty of characters do stupid, unbelievable things in this show
@moreinjuredthanowen there's so much in this show that isn't explained and totally illogical, the whole story is preposterous, full of absurdities, inconsistency and nonsense, think in the end you either accept that and go along with it or not man, its ****ing flying dragons and zombies ultimately, not ****ing Flaubert even GRRM probably can't provide things like true character motivations, plot twists, how and why beings like the WWs came into being. The whole thing with the Night King or WWs never speaking is because nobody, either GRRM or the show runners, has a clue about what they aren why any of it is happening and where it's heading
How does the zombie dragon work? It doesn't breathe or eat, so what determines how long it can use its blue breath for? It seems like it must be magical, in which case what is the source of mana?
you mught ask how does an undead soldier make that howling scream either. Who says its can't breathe? if its got a fetid set of lungs it can suck in air and howl.
I mean, it is meant to be Scotland beyond the wall. Kinda Guess buckfast or irn bru colour doesn't pop the same on screen
Hmm not sure how long it's been since it got speared ... the sense of time in the show is really unclear and kind of irrelevant now it's become so unclear So the boys and Dany sailed to King's Landing from Eastwatch at the end of the last episode. I reckon that's more like a few weeks travel than a couple of days But also, where in the timeline is the NK attacking the wall, before the big meet in King's Landing even happens, at the same time as that, after that ?? It's impossible to tell and as I said before any sense of logic and temporal movement is totally gone at this point As far as I can tell seems like wights continue to decay a bit after they are raised by the NK, again what the rate of decay is and how they can do things like breathe flame or scream and sprint is unexplained What I could tell is NK has total power over that dragon, as he presumably does over all the other walkers and the wights so he uses his mind/magic/necromancy to control them so he can make the dragon breathe flame as long as he wants, until it starts to burn itself out or whatever happens when a dragon gets exhausted of flame. Maybe his magic means it never gets exhausted. Again, who the **** knows, they obviously don't care about this. Guess they just think the average viewer is dumb as ****, mindlessly zoned out to the show and not capable of deconstructing it
Or maybe because dragons are make relief there are no rules around how much fire it can produce and for how long..
