Oooh ooh, old joke excuse: I got given Bonny Tyler's dvd of goal keeping howlers. It was just totally clips of Joe Hart.
Two big mistakes against Iceland and Wales in the last tournament and questionable against Scotland. Time to move on from Hart and give Butland or Pickford the chance.
I think if it wasn't England and Hart no one would question them. Bale scores free kicks against everyone but cos it was England we need a scapegoat and cos Hart is high profile we pick him. The tiniest thing gets exagerrated into a huge error with him.
Hart gets criticised whenever he makes a mistake for his club too, PLT. He seemed to get slated every other week when he was in Italy. Butland and Pickford are better keepers right now, you should always pick players based on form not name.
Yep, and that's what I don't get. His name seems to attract constant criticism despite being about as error-free as goalies come.
Man City have desperately been trying to get rid of him for the past two seasons, but can't because he's massively overpaid, he's simply not that great. I'd have him at least third choice for England.
I agree. He's defo not a number one. He's quite poor on one on ones he seems to keep his arms by his sides.
Man City tried to get rid of him only when Guardiola took over and only because he prefers bad goalkeepers who can play outfield.
Just like we needed to get rid of Gerrard, Lampard etc. People always think the solution to England's problems is to get rid of the best players. Then when they retire people say it's the worst squad in decades.
That's the trouble trying to build a team around a player isn't it.!!! You build a system/playing style and fit players into it
Even my brother-in-law, who acknowledges that he knows Jack **** about football, said Hart is standing to far to one side for both the free kicks against the Jocks...If he can see it why can't the entire England set-up..I see he's started $hite for the Ham.
Oh fair enough. I didn't realise your mate who acknowledges that he knows Jack **** about football had confirmed it. My mistake.
I live there. It's a big change from all the capital cities i've lived in but really love the lifestyle. It's still 30 degrees here every day for example...and will be good weather until feb. People are friendly somewhat, they can be a little self centred, insular mentality and all but they're quite welcoming. Couldn't find a bloody ticket for this game, they sold out instantly while I was on holiday. I reckon we'll do better than the home game. Going for 5-0
Southgate's a ultra-conservative mofo. Team selection is an uninspired piece of donkey cack. Worst England manager ever.
