I didn't expect much, but absolutely fcking nothing?? I mean, not even a mention on the Beeb's feed and all signs pointing to yet another Summer of **** from our eternal misery-deliverer, Mr. Lee "****" Charnley.
Still 546 minutes to go yet!

And we don't intend on making bids until there's 46 of those minutes left.Still 546 minutes to go yet!
Well I've been banned from Twitter for 12 hours. Thought it better expressing my rage there than here.

What the hell did you do?
I may have accidentally called Lee Charnley a C*** on four separate tweets and replies....
Why is Krul going out on loan? Couldn't we just have offered him on a free transfer?
He does only have this season to go on contract?
I don't get it. I don't get why we didn't just release Riviere, Colback, De Jong, Krul, and so on from their contracts really early. We've earned no money selling them and haven't any time to replace.
Hang on a sec. I'm a little confused by something else here.
We had a wage bill in the Championship of x. We got promoted - now, call me crazy, but I think that means our revenue has gone up by around £60m. Our Net spend on players is, what, £15m so far. So it stands to reason that - given the numbers out and numbers in - that our wage bill, which was sufficiently low in the Championship to allow us to buy Ritchie, Gayle, etc., is more or less the same but we have SIGNIFICANTLY more revenue to rely on. It then just doesn't stack up that we NEED to sell players. Surely what we NEED to do is bring in players of quality, regardless (to a point) of cost in this window.
I've just read that our Net Spend on transfers since Ashley took over in 2007 is just £22m. 10 years, where's the money gone? Even taking into account the relegations, we still somehow owe the fat one £110m or so, yet inexplicably have no money and an over-inflated wage bill this season?

It just smacks of abysmal management of the lowest order and, above all that, a massive web of lies, deceit and misinformation. Is any other club like this?
Sense is not allowed, we don't have money, we're lucky to have MA, get used to it.
Who cares if we've literally just freed up over 100k in the wage budget, we have no money
I'm also confused by the other things you mentioned - unless we ran at a big loss in the Championship to try and get promoted and are having to rein it in now.
However I'm pretty sure the reason we didn't just release the above from their contracts is that if we had we'd have had to pay them out in full - so we might as well have them sitting around on the bench/hope someone comes in for them with an offer that means we can mitigate some of the loss.
I still think loaning Krul to Brighton is madness though. Unless Rafa has told him that his only way back into the United team is to act as a secret agent and get Brighton relegated.
