In all seriousness though, if you take his comments about the club taking youth seriously at face value, then it's great to see.You must log in or register to see media

Sanchez and Foyth effectively replace Walker and Wimmer.
Aurier is another defender.
Do you not think Levy should be looking at another source of goals in case Kane and/or Alli are injured or out of form, especially given the demands of what could be a 60+ game season if Spurs progress in the CL and the cups?

Hmmm.....Who said he isn't?

Being able to attract promising youngsters by offering them the opportunity to force their way into the side is important.
We can't compete financially with a lot of the clubs around us unfortunately, but we can beat them at this game.
Want to be the next Harry Kane, Dele Alli or Christian Eriksen? Come to Spurs.
Hmmm.....
29 hours left, 3 games into the season already.
Sissoko was the answer when the question was asked this time last year: "Who can you get if you splash the cash at the last minute in the transfer window?"

It's been this way every year since the transfer window was invented. I'm calm in the sense that with Aurier, we are at least back to the level we were at last season. With Sanchez in and Lamela returning from injury, plus the likelihood that our youngsters will take another step towards their peak, I believe that we have it in us to be slightly better. Do we have the depth to compete on 4 fronts? Absolutely not. As things stand (pretending for a moment that Wembley isn't a big deal), I think we can make top 4 again and challenge for a domestic trophy; but that the other domestic trophy will be a short-lived experience and the Champions league will quickly become the Europa League, which we will crash out of soon after similar to last season.
It just seems such an opportunity missed (potentially).Luke, believe me, we've discussed your questions to death, for months!
a lot of us think we need a player as competition in attack. Some want a striker to compete with Kane, some want a fast winger/forward to compete for places in the positions behind Kane. Some don't think we need anyone.
Now is the time to spend £50M+ on a superstar player.
But it won't happen because it will probably undermine the wages structure.
A marquee signing would lift the whole club too.
