I am beginning to think that the Goon 4-0 is at best their equivalent of AVBs' 0-3 against the Spanners. I wonder which game to come will be their equivalent of the AVB 0-5 against the Poool.
Which begs the question what getting teabagged for 180 minutes by Bayern last season compares to. AVB's second leg non-performance against Inter?
Rumours that City have made a Sterling + ....Sterling (the player not the currency) offer for Sanchez. At least things are on the up for Arsenal.
They've got rid of Mustafi on loan to Inter after flogging Gabriel. That leaves them Mertesacker (old and slow), Koscielny (mostly broken) and Holding (inexperienced). At best that's thin beyond measure. They must be clearing the wage bill to pay Özil what he wants. I wonder if he plays centre half?
I know Wenger gets a lot of **** and things aren't going great for Arsenal, but surely they must have something in the pipe line? Sanchez is bound to push this through as he looks completely uninterested in remaining at Arsenal. They would need a couple of decent signings to replace him. Surely Wenger hasn't lost the plot to that extent?
There's a lot of desperation surrounding the proposed Alexis Sanchez move to Citeh. Citeh are desperate to make the signing..........Sanchez is desperate to win the title.......... Arsenal fans are........well, it writes itself from here.
If City manage to fob Sterling off in a deal that gets them Sanchez, they would have pulled off the biggest WUM of 2017.
He can be a bit headless at times, but he's quite effective. Gets a decent amount of goals and creates chances. Still only 22, as well.
"Welcome to Arsenal, Raheem. I'm sure you'll be happy challenging Petr for his place. Raheem? Where are you going?"
These "great" players wanting to leave their clubs for "bigger" things reminds me of Elisabeth Taylor and her marriages....
Just read about Carroll having problems with motor cycle crooks.Your in a car mate, run the bastards down!
