2 more red cards already this weekend. First sterling, now Brittos. Absolutely mental start to the season.
In Brittos' deserved 2 red cards all on his own. Appalling, terrible assault. The guy's a bit unhinged.
I'm really annoyed by the Sterling sending off. This is because it deflects some of the scrutiny away from what was the game changing decision which is whether the game should still have been going on. When all is considered it will make very little difference whether Sterling misses the next match, but two points either way could give Citeh the title or relegate Bournemouth. That is where the discussion should be focused, but of course now that something has (correctly) gone against one of the favoured teams, let's all discuss that. Edit: just seen the BBC report on the match. Lots of stuff on the red card.
Welcome to the premier league, De Boer. I know it's only 3 games in, but it's not looking good. No goals scored and 6 conceded. From what I've seen, the players look like they're struggling with what ever it is he's trying to implement.
At the Theatre of Dreams the pressure was building. The crowd were exerting pressure. United's efforts were becoming increasingly frantic. With that kind of pressure, a crack is bound to occur to let United in...........frankly, I'm shocked it took Michael Oliver until the second half to give them the softest of soft penalties.
They may be scoring, but the opposition they've had so far haven't turned up. And united haven't played particularly well either. It's only gonna get harder.
Well,.........................favoured?.................... it's such a definite judgment............... I wouldn't say favoured................ it's more of a................more of a................ what's the word?................BIAS, or FIX or TOTAL CORRUPTION OF FAIR PLAY. Yes, that's it. That's it.
They've been good but yeah, they've had a ridiculously easy start, they don't play anyone decent until October!
They've been allowed to look good, IMO. I'll take it back if they are top drawer against decent opposition, but they've literally had no challenge whatsoever so far.
