A VERY telling excerpt from Pady's Pointers from today's game - "Russell Martin was singled out for special treatment by sections of the travelling support after the third goal went in. Every touch from him until the interval brought a smattering of boos. His withdrawal just prior to the hour mark triggered audible appreciation from the same part of the ground. Martin is no stranger to criticism but his clarion call for unity at the end of the season now looks hollow and for a large constituency is tied to his removal from the XI."

He HAS to be dropped before the Brum game!!!!

4 out of the last 6 seasons in the PL, all that money and we're left with this shower of sh1t.
I'm lost for words, just don't dare try and tell me that it's not the Board and that bl00dy woman's fault.
I actually feel sorry for Farke, he appears to be out of his depth and I think he now probably realises it.
What a fecking farce of a club we are, now off to change these wet pants <grr>
 
Our defense is still ****ing awful.

All of the goals the defenders were like headless chickens. But the last one is a bloody stupid goal to concede at this level.
 
If we don't sort it out at the back we may be in danger of a relegation scrap. You can't concede the goals we do and hope to do well.
 
on the plus side Nelson looked a little threatening and they missed a sitter that could have made it 5 and us on our own with worst goal difference!

Just seen the result and knew that Martin had started before I'd even checked. So glad that starting Oliveira & Hoolahan led to such a sustained assault on their goal. I await the usual response about giving youth a chance. Still at least a season doesn't end in August.
 
I'm beginning to get a nasty premonition whiff of the Chase era in all of this, sell your best players and import a load of unknowns in the blind belief that they can do the same job as those sold.

sorry Gambia but in this case I'm pretty sure they are doing the same job. The defense is sooooo last season!

I haven't be convinced that DF knows what he's doing, and it has only continued to plumet. This looks a stupid risk, based on some youth team managers coming good from the same club. As I said before, that rule wont apply for everyone.

Yippee - Paddy seems to have lost his 'green and yellow' glasses with his player ratings from yesterday and it makes grim reading -

So the highest score for any player with a 6.5 and when you look at the 4 defenders and their TOTAL score was a miserly 17, it's hardly surprising we got well and truly stuffed!!!! Plenty for DF and his coaches to work on over the international break and all will be revealed when we travel to Bramhall Lane on 16th Sep and IF we fail to pick up 6 points in our 2 home matches, then I feel a lot of fans' PATIENCE' will be starting to wear a bit thin (mine included!!!)

Things are not looking good FML and the whole team needs to start working together in the same way as our under 23s did on Friday.

Pathetic. Seen so many 4/5 performances already this season. We could face a real fight to stay up this season. How bad were QPR!?
