On VVD, there is an offer. It's close to valuation but will be rejected, even if its increased. Three other clubs have enquired; all EPL. Doesn't look like any will get close to valuation. May change as window closes. Stalemate still...club refusing to sell, player refusing to play. Something went on today relating to a fine. Not sure what. Club seemingly prepared to keep him in the knowledge he may continue to refuse to play.

I'm sure he said we had dropped the interest in Hoedt and were after Wimmer and that a foreign club were in for VVD. Keep your story straight, mate.

Another ITK crumbles
The latest round of straw-clutching now has Liverpoolvan fans expecting VD to be sold, because we've got a replacement. Err..no, we've got a player to strengthen our defence, and why would we then weaken it by selling Van Dijk?
Probably claim it was....A Rome team.
I didn't mean to put "Liverpoolvan fans", but that's quite a good description of them (but I would say that, wouldn't I?)
He;s been bang on with his VVD ITKs all summer ... first to break the training on his own, for example.
Shouldn't we be suing Liverpool for the loss of services of a contracted player as a consequence of their illegal approach and co-ordinated media campaign to unsettle the player. That we should do as it would stop this rot once and for all.
Ah, but a good lawyer would argue that VVD decided for himself to stop playing - Liverpool's interest was completely coincidental, and has not affected Van Dijk in any measurable way.

Yeah he has way too much "info" at one time to be ITK. Most of the stuff he seems to be taking from what we already know and the press.
Aaargh! SSN are at it again today, still trying to flog VD to Scouse, rubbishing their current CB's! They don't rate Lovren and not impressed by Matic, no mention of Sakho.
