Hope Mauricio is interested in this cup....though he may feel that it didn't do the last manager any good.

Well 4 points and 3 goals is a fair return from our first 2 home games based on the performances. Last week we were unlucky to only draw and today we rode our luck a bit to get the result but that's the nature of the game.
There are plenty of positives looking forward, Maya should no longer be treated with trepidation when he plays and alongside him, Jack is a natural and could easily play in midfield with his ability on the ball. JWP showed his value to the team when he came on and should start the next game, Manolo will get 15+ goals if he stays fit and we scored TWO penalties!...happy days COYR

Missed a lot of the first half, owing to not finding a working stream.
Don't think Tadic's challenge was a red card. He seemed to dive in but ended up straddling the spammer. Poorly timed but not dangerous.
Noble's challenge was awful and the ref had a clear view, but maybe gave him the benefit having already given Lemina the benefit with his aerial challenge with Arnautovic.
But I don't think Lemina intended to whack Arnautovic with his arm, it was just a typical mid air contact, with Arnautovic's arms also up.
Like others, I thought we used our get out of jail free card, and were a bit lucky to get the result, but I also think we were unlucky.
We hit the the bar twice, with Hart nowhere, and with a little more luck we would have hit the underside of the bar, with the ball going in, instead of hitting the top of the bar and staying out.
Happy to have the three points and three joint top scorers.
 
Just watched the PL Review on Sky. They thought Noble should have been sent off as well....no intention of playing the ball. I know they lost at the last minute, but Bilic's hangdog demeanor was over the top. He could hardly make himself heard. I hope they keep him away from sharp objects. West Ham have reasonable matches to come...Spurs the only 'big' side in the next 6. Final comment was that we should do well.
 
I am even more convinced that Les Reed arranged for Jose to go to West Ham to undermine them from the inside, it is working a treat at the moment. What I liked about Lemina was the fact that he was economical when he got the ball, every pass went somewhere useful.
