Barkley wants out of the City, so that won't happen, ignoring the fact that he's a local Blue and he'd be strung up for it.
I suspect the latter half of your argument would be the main sticking point to be honest. He wouldn't be the first blue turned red though. If we were the only ones bidding he might take the bait. If we were against Chelsea I'm sure he'd take Chelsea.
