That doesn't make any sense Syd. They aren't calling us 'Hull City'. It reads 'Hull City Tigers'. They continue to walk all over us, and the football authorities too.
Just one point re this, as it's really important and not reflected in that summary, what Tom Rowell actually claimed in the meeting, is that the club name is Hull City Tigers.
No idea when or if it did CB. I am not evading answering. I lost track of everything going on recently as I had to try to get the new web site running and it absorbed my time. I still have quite a lot to do on both sites. The old site crashed several times and I had to have it reset to an earlier date by the hosting company. I do not keep a track of what is posted on facebook or twitter, that's someone else's role. .
The announcement about there being no live streaming next season came out two days after the supporter committee meeting.
Never realised that Burton Albion don't have their name on their badge either. Also what's with the fat man in shoes with unacceptable high heels?
It's all just meaningless attempts at PR from the puppets within the club. Firstly they need to change everything back to Hull City apart from the badge which should should read Hull City AFC. Bring back concessions and actually spend some money on players then make a full public apology whilst shutting the door behind you then you might not be the most hated meglomaniacs in the City.
It's not meaningless at all, just another example of how cunning and devious the Allams are. After using only Tigers for a year on the program, advertising, tickets and the like it does at first glance look like this is an improvement when in fact its just another con trick. Some view it as getting the name Hull City back when in fact you're getting what they wanted with the name change. If its not stopped now coupled with their reducing the number of protesters joining the membership scheme i wouldn't be suprised to hear talk of another ballot on the name.
It is meaningless to me as I did not even acknowledge it or take it for anything other than PR marketing nonsense prior to the first home game of the season. You see it as cunning I don't.
Just a point but it's not is it? Didn't the mentalist claim to think we were always called Hull City Tigers and he wanted to shorten it to Hull Tigers? I might be wrong here, I'm passed caring now. It used to be THE stick to beat them with but there's a ****ing rainforest worth now so even just dropping the name change wouldn't be enough for me. They simply have to go.
