Yes, a little disappointed with a Clucas, and Henriksen is just too slow, although he did do one excellent tackle, but you need it all game. We have the makings of a good footballing side, just need those magical signings.im sure Middlesbrough will be disappointed, especially what they have laid out. Early days though!
I thought Clucas and Henriksen were targeted by Bruce. Both players were clattered early on, probably on orders from SB. Interesting to see who's injured and who isn't at training tomorrow.
Great point away from home which will not have done Slutsky and his boys confidence no harm at all.

Bang on - I have no idea how Whelan stayed on the pitch for the full 90, some of his lunges were atrocious.

I thought hernandez and campbell looked to have the makings of a good partnership they linked up a couple of times , i think with a stronger midfield two centrally ie mason/meyler or mason/stewart we'l have far better supply to the wide players and strikers, i thought henriksen and clucas both looked way off and lost , miles better when meyler came on took till he came on to make a decent challenge

We aren't going to drop Clucas, he's our best midfielder by a distance. Mason's even more lightweight too.

Big Dave would have given Whelan a straightener if he'd started and put a stop to that nonsense.

I have to admit that I've questioned whether he can cut it in the PL ,ability wise, but in this league he should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

A 'straightener' was what was required, a bit like this one <laugh>

Always brings a smile to my face whenever I see that.

It really is a thing of unequalled beauty.

Me too, it put that niggly, Argie twat right in his place - he'd been at it all match, ref's doing **** all so ....... cometh the hour, cometh THE man!

PS Just realised, all this non transfer stuff is gonna cause our mods a bit of work .... sorry chaps!

The dirty bastard was flinging his elbows about, as per usual, trying to be the big hard man all game.

Bully boy got a taste of his own medicine and didn't like it.

Like I said I love seeing him hit the deck like a big, steaming sack of ****.

When Meyler came on our dominant period ended.
