Report: Nottingham Forest hope to sign Hull City's Allan McGregor for free Do these ****ing idiots not do any research.... why on earth would we let our most experienced keeper leave without back up.... and for ****ing free !!!!! Two hopes mate... bob hope and no ****ing hope....
We're being linked more and more with Musa... As nice as it is to be linked with players, do we actually need him? Someone like that would only come here for guaranteed first team football and if thats the case, who would he replace in the team?
Realistically he'll have PL offers so it depends how badly he wants to work with Slutsky again. Clearly it would be an unbelievable signing for us.
I know some fans have turned their noses up at Zeegalaar but if we get him and Musa, they're both players that played in the CL last year. It's some quality
Just watched the Motherwell v Rangers game...**** all else to do....and Josh Windass looked good....well first half anyway. If he could take his chances he'd be off to a bigger team. Played well on the left of midfield...might be interesting if Grosicki goes.
Just seen Omar Bogle been put on transfer list at Wigan, wouldn't mind us taking a punt on him at the quoted 800k.. Still young, scored goals and would offer something different at 6ft 3
What like, I'm 5'9 and scored every game. I'd offer something different too, but I'm telling you, Bogle would not be the answer. You can see the standard of the forwards that played for city and Villa yesterday, and they are not even the answer. Saying that, I thought Our forwards did really well yesterday, especially in tracking back. What we need is speed up front, that is were we will win games.
Would offer some aerial threat perhaps? It's obvious we aren't going to be paying millions for a top striker so at that price I wouldn't mind him, can't be any worse than diomande.
Exactly, so what's the point of having another bench warmer like diomonde. To feed the aerial threat you need the supply, and grosicki usually supplies to feet, and everyone else overhits it as we saw yesterday from 2 wasted free kicks. Speed to feet is the answer.
I thought hernandez and campbell looked to have the makings of a good partnership they linked up a couple of times , i think with a stronger midfield two centrally ie mason/meyler or mason/stewart we'l have far better supply to the wide players and strikers, i thought henriksen and clucas both looked way off and lost , miles better when meyler came on took till he came on to make a decent challenge
Yes, a little disappointed with a Clucas, and Henriksen is just too slow, although he did do one excellent tackle, but you need it all game. We have the makings of a good footballing side, just need those magical signings.im sure Middlesbrough will be disappointed, especially what they have laid out. Early days though!
