Didn't Aina play something like 27 minutes last season?

I agree about Hector and Bowen though, the could do a good job this season.

Unless he played about 5 minutes per appearance then no, he made 5 appearances for Chelsea. In fact I'm pretty sure he got a winners medal.

27 minutes was just a random number but I don't think it'll be far from that. He only came on after 80 minutes.

Untested? Aina made a number of appearances for Chelsea last season.

Hector is a very good signing, and has just had a great season in Germany. Just because you've never heard of him doesn't make him crap.

Bowen has looked great in pre-season. If we'd just signed him for 4m from Liverpool and Stewart was a youngster in our Academy, we'd be raving about Bowen.

I also never said we have had an amazing Summer, just that we've done better than Sunderland.

Where did I say Hector was crap?

Aina played against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy ( 77 minutes) and had 13 minutes against Leicester in the Prem whilst at Chelsea. If you think that's ' a number of appearances' then fair enough.

I'd say playing around 90 minutes isn't, we'll have to disagree on that one.

We'll see about Bowen, as usual a couple of decent performances in meaningless games and he's a world beater. Again, we'll have to disagree on that one.

Stop trying so hard to justify the absolutely shambolic state our squad is in thanks to boy wonder and his band of incompetent no marks.

Correction, 8 minutes against Leicester.

I hope he got that medal Syd , he clearly deserved it.

I'm not really sure how it can be described as anything different. Sure, it could better but right now it's a mess.

Last I checked 5 appearances was 'a number'. In fact so is 2. :)

I'm not trying to justify anything. For a third time, I'm just drawing a comparison to Sunderland.

You need to get your head out of the sand.

We've signed a striker who was once decent and who can hopefully still do a job, if he can be arsed. BCC stated Campbell had only trained 3 times prior to joining us after the season ended. That's a bit worrying.

An untested: inexperienced right back who'll probably play left back.

2 centre halves who have hardly set the world alight , one of which has never played in England, but look steady enough( ish) and an inexperienced mid fielder who gets mixed reviews.

And then you look at who we've let go.

It's a cluster **** of epic proportions and anyone saying different is either very easily pleased or incredibly naive.

Maybe both.

No left back and a Steve McDonald wannabe who couldn't give less of a ****. I also think Bowen isn't up to it, neither is Dio.

Apart from that we're good.

Frazier's not a PL striker but as we're not a PL club it doesn't matter. When he's played in the champ he's always scored a lot of goals.

Aina is a very good young and highly regarded full back. Just because you haven't seen him play, it doesn't make him crap. He's inexperienced but not untested as he's also been training with some of the best in the world on a daily basis prior to joining. He was very close to breaking through last year for them, he'll be terrific for us.

2 centre halves who have hardly set the world alight? Mazuch played in 7 of Sparta's Europa League games last year and performed well if the ratings are anything to go by and Hector played in the Bundesliga and featured in a cup final.

Stewart has only got poor reviews from the more idiotic Liverpool fans. Many respect and knowledge people have said that he'll be a very good signing and so far he's impressed.

We're very short but only an idiot questions the quality of our additions so far for the Championship

**** me, this is hard work.

Slutski's latest interview talks about wanting 5 more players. But by the sounds of it it'll be loans and freebies..

Asked if he expected business in the coming days, Slutsky added: “Before Saturday, yes, maybe one or two. But we need five more (new signings). We have three more loan options and absolutely we will have five loan players (including Aina and Hector). Maybe that is like the cherry on the cake at the end of the transfer window. There will be some good players who are not playing in the big teams.

“Maybe we are waiting for one or two loan options at the end of the window. We want three loan players and then two more, either buy or free agents like Fraizer Campbell. We want five more altogether.”

Thats absolute madness if you ask me.. a club thats sold the majority of its players and has parachute payment money is only looking to sign players on loan or a free?

You can’t be spending money on transfers when you are busy clawing back your ‘’present’’ to the people of Hull.

If Tymon had stayed and not signed for Stoke he would be playing at LB against Villa on Saturday so why don't we ask Stoke to loan him back to us ?
Or is that against Ehab's pride ?

I don't get why Abel would be allowed to leave.

Either we need the cash, which really doesn't make sense after all the sales.

He doesn't like Slutsky but then why settle for another championship club (although he does seem like the kind of player to like money)

Slutsky doesn't rate him, in which case why let him go to rival in the same league.

It doesn't add up but then again not a lot does when it comes to management of the club and finances.

Don't worry yourself. Xia has already ruled it out.
