Hey guys, sorry for a little off-topic. I just thought it may be interesting for you, and it was also getting kinda tense here.
There's an article on a russian sport website about Slutsky's future in Hull City fc written by a guy who's quite a tactics and statistics geek.
https://www.sports.ru/tribuna/blogs/reddevilsstories/1340423.html
You can use chrome translation. Like yeah, machine translations are hard to read and **** up names, but still, it's an interesting opinion.
using google translate, it reads like a ****tard off here has written it

You have done this a few times recently.
Man the **** up.
If you don't like people thinking you are a **** on a message board my advice is don't post on on.
Another thing I hope you asked permission when using some random females picture as your profile picture.

you got THAT from what I posted?
personally I don't really care what a halfbrained nobody thinks of me.

All you/we are doing is cluttering the transfer thread arguing the toss - there are some on here (not myself btw) who take this particular thread VERY serious. You obviously feel very strongly so I suggest you start your own thread on this and let a debate commence.
I have no feelings at all on the matter, but should we not all consider if our comments
help or hinder the signing of new / retaining of existing players ?

Well after reading a few pages on here and also keeping up with Twitter tonight I am highly amused at some of the posts. At least City supporters still have a sense of humour. Thanks for cheering me up.
That's the whole point for us Juleskaren.when I first went to see city play I fell in love with the city fans.their sense of humour(not quite so good these days)and the silverware we don't care follow city everywhere.its brilliant been a city away fan.i think ehab is sinking the club.and fair enough because we have no respect for tiny knob.sooner or later Adam or a similar investor will take over.we will still have great weekends. He will still be ehab.in fact he will only always be ehab.even with money that's not something I would choose. City till I die.allams out

No, we shouldn't consider it in any way, shape or form.

The custodians of our club's are absolute morons, the current players understand any potential new players will have already heard.

We're irrelevant. Just [HASHTAG]#AskEhab[/HASHTAG]

Do you not think that comments made about the custodians of the club have an adverse
affect as to the quality of the players that can be signed and on the confidence and desire
to stay of the existing squad ?

You're on the wind up aren't you, admit it.

How will a comment affect the qualities of a player.? Will s player be one day very talented & tomorrow will be less So. Maybe after say learning to read.

Why and when did City arrange matches with Benfica and Ajax? Why even bother to play a game at home/Rovers? And why appoint Slutski? It just does not add up?

If that were the case we'd be reporting mass player suicides every Sunday after a MDT.

You're being silly, stop it.

That's the biggest confusion for me. Ehab said we'd have a manager within a fortnight - and we did, and that we'd have majority of players in before pre-season - and we didn't. Something doesn't make sense.

Could Agents be part of the problem? Is that why they appointed a head of recruitment? Are agents not prepared to work with Ehab? Whilst I believe they are taking their money out of the club I do not believe that they would not still try and sell the club at a profit eventually so some wise investment would still be expected?

The fact Ehab wouldn't give Tymon 7k a week or even 3-4K a week tells you all you need to know. He won't want to pay for players anymore, he won't want to pay the unrealistic agents fee that's been proven this last year and most of all he bares grudges.

I have no idea on the contracts his employers are on at his company but I'd assume most are self employed or on year contracts. He doesn't like someone he will get rid, only his father was in the way of that with Bruce.

I do think since he didn't sell the club he's getting his money out another way, and he nearly got lucky with Silva.

I don't believe that anything posted on here will have any impact whatsoever on a players decision to join, mainly because they'll never see it.

They are far more likely to see stuff on Twitter, which is populated by ever bigger nutters than there are on here and that's unlikely to have any bearing either.

So, very worryingly, note the second last paragraph in that Russian article: A bad start in the Championship and............

"For Slutsky it will be extremely important, in the case of failures at the start (and with an understaffing this is very realistic) not to swim. It is said that during his time with CSKA he resigned four times, and only Giner's patience led to the fact that as a result, with the LAN, the team won three championships, cups and so on. I have a doubt that this Egyptian comrade will be the same subtle psychologist."

So there you have it...looks like Slutz is a big cuddly fragile bear requiring deft emotional handling after a couple of defeats. Papa & Polo Boy are unlikely to be able to provide this.

Yeah, but it was during his first seasons back in 2009-2010 and after that fact became known he has said in a couple of interviews, that he did grown up to overcome this kind of emotional urges and that's not an issue anymore with his experience. Still I would cut a guy some slack, regarding the situation with players.
