IF the board is going to the dogs then we are all to blame for that. It's no surprise cyber fights kick off now and then, we are a mixed bunch on here some kids some oldies and all ages in between. The posters cover all extremities by whichever measure you use.
It's easy to blame the mods for not controlling things, but we need to remember that they are after all nothing more than willing volunteers and whenever they do step in it's going to leave someone pissed off because they did.
The worst thing i see is that some appear to be bearing grudges against another poster, and no matter what is said the usual suspects will be all over it. All of us need to take a moment before hitting the reply box and think is that really what i want to say.

In regards to your general comment, it's both wrong and sad. A little thought and little less Big Brother would make some keystrokes more understandable. I'm not whinging, just responding to your post. The lack of tolerance on here is appalling.
There are some exchanges of posts that continue despite not being logical, or reasonable, but they do.
It's somebody's playground.

Maybe a different way to look at things but I have always thought that there was a mental weakness in the squad and had been there for a number of years. I wonder if one of the things silver did was highlight this to the Allams before he left and they are shipping out the longer serving members of the squad to reinvigorate not just physically but also mentally.

Livermore was one of our more consistent players once he'd got over the drug problem.

I think the club wanted Davies to leave as he pointed out the club didn't offer him a deal to stay but offered Tom one. Let's not forget we have been relegated twice with these players at the club and a clear out from Bruce's time in charge might not be a bad thing. I'm really not worried about these players leaving the problem is lack of recruitment

And I think we have all read Syd's posts for long enough to have made the jump of faith that it was simply poorly constructed and not intentionally vindictive against a player, just favouring the option it presented. If he used a full stop and not a comma then it might look worse, but the comma leaves it open to reasonable and fair interpretation - or, at least, a question asking if that was what he meant. Nevermind, it seems to be the way of some on here.

As for the vitriolic post by Spesupersydera and the unfortunate likes, this board really is going to the dogs. That's an old saying, if you want one.

Appreciated. Posts like Spesupersydera really are unneeded on here, and I generally try to discuss the posts and the content within not the poster making them, it would be nice if others could do likewise.

I think you're both coming at it from different directions but saying the same thing, a lot on here seem to forget there are real people posting here, and some of the things said about them are unreasonably cruel for the subject matter we're discussing.

So Derby activated Tom's buyout clause on Friday, Saturday he's signed, announced, interviewed etc...

Why the **** can we never do anything like that? Why does it take 4 weeks to sign that Aina kid on a loan deal?

Take note Ehab... when you want a player you go out and get him.

Im not too fussed about losing Tom. He's been a great player to watch over the years but contributed little in terms of goals & assists from midfield. Especially for a team like us where we cant depend on our striker to grab all the goals.

Hopefully now we can go in a new direction and bring in a different kind of midfield.

Apparntly deals are complicated ask 1moreagain lol

Getting beaten yesterday was the best thing that could have happened. It shows the hierarchy that we can't get through a season in this difficult league by selling your best players and replacing them with league one/two calibre youth players.

Had we convincingly won yesterday I think they would have looked at it as an indication that they can get away with trying to do everything on the cheap.

Glad tom is gone. He was **** and a handicap to our team. We are free to play more fluidly with a bit of pace now.

Now whilst I can see what you're saying , you surely can't be too happy when a player of that calibre leaves and you see the lack of players coming in.

The squad keeps getting thinner and thinner and the quality continues to diminish .

So Tom says "If I had been made the new offer to stay 3 weeks ago I would have signed and been happy to stay" Enob says " We made Tom a new offer before we received the bid from Derby, but Tom decided to leave" Both could be right, but when will Enob learn that if you want a player to stay you tie them down ASAP, not wait until the horse has nearly bolted.

It's not rocket science is it? Is it not the head of a recruitments job or is he just a glorified finger puppet. When you go down or any season actually the conversation should be 'who do we need to keep hold of?' 'Who has a release clause' and 'which players with potential need securing so we can maximise the fee when we sell' then offer the contract accordingly. Non of those questions seem to arise with him.

Quick buck to get the old Bruce players out.

Systematically and consistently selling all players that Bruce brought in for way under their value.

It just go to show his stupidity, we can always make a mistake once, but this guy just doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes.
