It seems to be far easier to cause and take offence on the internet than in person for some reason. Don't know why that is, but a bit of a smart arse dig that would be taken in jest if said to someone's face, seems to lose it's humour when written down.

Putting something down in writing compared with discussing face to face has no intonation, no facial expressions and no supporting body language to let the receiver of the insult, whether intentional or not. Mariner says Liverpool should buy Bertrand and that Saints will sell. He may be right...Les didn't specifically mention Ryan in his won't sell list, though it is possible he meant all our main players, but I don't follow his logic. There are few LBs around so he will go....surely we are less likely to sell if there are few good ones around.
I would like to keep Bertrand...indeed most of our first team, but if it came down to choice, I'd rather keep VVD, Romeu and Cedric.
