I'm all for playing as a solid defensive unit personally, I think it's a much underrated quality that went a long way towards securing Chelsea the title last season.
However, without goals for, the tactic falls down a little. A cautious 0-0 at home to Swansea in August and I can already hear our "fans" getting restless.
Maybe we're getting Costa and Hazard as well as a new manager?
I don't disagree; we're not in a position where grinding out 0-0s/hopeful 1-0s at home will win us any great plaudits no matter who is in charge. I'm just trying to figure out why our board might swap Puel for Pellegrino.
