My wife does. And she's desperately trying to lose weight.

Me and religion. Never gone see eye to eye!

Best way to lose weight would be to exercise whilst fasting but the no water thing is bad. TRG a half hour before fasting finishes for the day

I was born in a not so religious family, went through being not religious at all and then found religion again and tbh I can't see the arguments against it.

Been through the whole dialogues with people who advocate other things and I found that when you getbinto the nitty gritty, as people do with religion IE pick at every single thing, then all the arguments fall by the wayside.

This is just me though and I do believe in each to their own.

No salt makes sense for thirst reasons

I don't like salt on my fruit, I know it's an Asian ting.

Not on all fruit but salted oranges and tomatoes is a must and raw onion

As for no thirst remember akhie it's not just no water that bad for you but lack of salt lost through sweating too

That's why runners and athletes have those mixes to replenish themselves they contain sugar and salt

Based on that salt is good for you in summer ramadhan?

@Spurlock

You still at work g?

I'm working till 6am and yeah but I'm just one of these people who thinks salt is salty. It's like when people drink Tea and claim that it cools down the body. Maybe it does biologically, but it's not like having a glass of ice cold water to get that cool feeling.

Hope it rains all weekend, I know all the Non Muslim bro's have got BBQ's planned, but rain helps my fast and thirst cravings.

I'm all in the head

When they say tea its not dudh patti lol

Tea makes you sweat and that's what cools you down. Was initially a summer drink.

I love BBQ but my garden is a mess after having building work done. Hope it rains too as it helps with the fasting and then its a scorcher for Eid

Haven't done that for years. Think me NAD my mates started the whole wilmslow road and hire car thing back in the day

Initially we went just to link up with brothers from all over UK. My first time was in a Datsun 120y belonging to a friend.

Back when it first started cops used to let the dogs go on us. Then it became a thing

Now it's just mans with gyal giving evils its ****. Back in the day you just linked up and everybody has a good time

Also just bought a brand new merc no way going to thrash that for a few months. Big Eid maybe lol

and Onions are not fruit..I like to mix them up with a spoon of mint and have them with Keema...bad man munch

I know its not a fruit lol.

Best thing do with onions is cut it up and leave it in salted water for a few minutes then drain and serve, gets rid off bitterness

I like onions with daal.

A good trick with kebabs is to dice onion cucumber and tomato into little pieces and then add ketchup to it with a bit of salt and black pepper . sounds meh but very tasty.

Yeah...with roti

I can't make Daal quite like I want to, might give it a go over the weekend

Used to have that for breakfast as a kid. With paratha

Depends on the daal. If its the yellow lentils then simply boil it up with salt and spices and add the garlic tarka at the end. Has to be butter or ghee tarka for extra flavour
