He fell out with the owner and fell out with a few players over the season as well. We have just got rid if a manager that did that.
I personally wouldn't avoid someone solely because they fell out with players on one occasion. It could well have been the players at fault. Unless of course he has a reputation for doing so? In that case I'd agree with you that it would be a concern.

But the club also said VvD isn't for sale either, so...
Bit of a difference, we can't get £60m+ for Jay. Also Jay wants to stay, were as VVD is being a dick and liking tweets about knowing who your real friends are etc.

City and Chelsea won't pay that money.....and I don't think the board would dare sell him to Liverpool after what happened (this season anyway).

Well, i'm kinda glad... i cling on to the hope that JRod will come good. Long will be sold i imagine though.
Would much rather keep Long than Jay Rod but wouldn't be massively bothered if both left.
