Presumably they had to wait until tomorrow becuase they realised they'd pre-filmed Sammy Saint for today's fixture release video in the old shirt.
 
Maybe I'm reading into this gimmick too much but interesting that Bertrand is in it but VVD is not. I enjoyed Hugo basically being Zordon (from Power Rangers).
It is all a bit silly but it should just be taken as a bit of light fun and it will probably appeal to the young saints fans.

This would have been made weeks ago so I wouldnt read into it at all. Plus it looks more likely that Bertrand will leave than van dijk.

And yet Bertrand has wanted out for a long time and wasn't Bertrands main issue with Puel? I wonder if Puel getting sacked makes any difference to Bertrands decision. Anyway, this is probably the wrong thread for that kinda thought.

The digs at Liverpool and Lallana will undoubtedly have wider appeal. Saints probably do these drawn out teasers better than most clubs and I have no problem with them really. Interesting to see how many so called adult fans on SWF and on twitter are annoyed because they have to wait a little longer for the launch - bit like my five year old on Christmas Eve. The rest of us just inwardly smile.

Good point, I'd really like Bertrand to stay. Let's hope you are right!
