I like it. Kit launches are usually boring and this is a bit of fun. We only get excited on usual kit launches because there is no football and we have no idea if we will have an owner, manager or players by August. :D

I love how several of you read little important details into a fluffy little piece of entertainment. It's almost as entertaining as the cartoon itself.
For example, a particular player doesn't appear in the cartoon, which means he's leaving. You do realise that only 4 cartoon players have appeared in the cartoon so, by that logic, the rest of the entire squad obviously must be leaving. <doh>

Maybe we're missing the genius of all the clues. Maybe a deal for Mircea Lucescu has already been agreed!!

Or maybe I'm viewing on a phone and it's too small to see. I'm perfectly aware of the pause button thanks for your concern.

You're right, as always. I was definitely thinking that the entire squad were now leaving except the ones in the video. I think there is a secret meaning behind everything in the video. The video is gospel. For example, Hugo appears as a god like floating entity and appears to know all, Les Reed is therefore clearly just a front and Hugo is the brains behind the operation. <doh>

Jesus some people need to get a bit of perspective. The amount of grown adults I've seen complaining about it being childish or 'cringe' when it's about the release of a football shirt. Guess who it's targeted at? Kids. Nothing wrong with grown-ups wearing football shirts (In the right contexts...) but got to embrace the slight silliness of it all, surely? I guess not.

Besides, I really didn't think it was that bad in of itself, the 'hero status' stuff was a bit naff, but I like that it had a few kind of in-jokes and wasn't just completely bland cookie-cutter stuff that you usually get for kit launches and club promotional stuff - like Barry Gale and Hugo being in it, and I loved the reference to offside technology... Well love/hated...

I think what people are saying is that in their perspective, it is cringey as f*ck! Which is fine.

I can find it cringey and a bit daft at the same time as I appreciate kids may enjoy it and that it has some funny references in such as liverpool/lallana.

The lack of perspective I mean is that many people seem to be taking it like it's the most serious and important thing in the world and are actually pissed off about it. Not people on here, just venting about reaction elsewhere.

Bit concerned that all of our players have spent the summer building up their forearms, judging by that picture.

The fact that Forster is now eight feet wide at the shoulders with Barbie's waist also doesn't bode well; being that top-heavy might make it easier for him to get down, but he might struggle to get back up again.
