Tuchel would be an ideal fit. Personally, also like Jokanovic from Fulham. Some people talking about Paulo Sousa who has just left Fiorentina - would be a bit underwhelming I think. But, he is out of work, and that is something we have looked for in recent appointments to avoid compensation.
Forgot about Laurent Blanc - he's available, he's got a good track record as a manager. But Saints may avoid another French manager.
Bit of money going on Sousa at the bookies bringing his odds in a bit. I certainly hope not. Anyone but Tuchel would be disappointing because I have stupidly convinced myself we stand a chance of getting him!
Young Hoffenheim manager, very highly rated in Germany. Took over last season when they were in a relegation battle, kept them up easily. Finished 4th this season and qualified for the Champions League. He signed a new contract last week.
Ahh ok then, just saw him on the list on Paddypower and didn't recognise his name. Sounds like no chance anyway
Lucien Favre? Just had a brilliant year at NICE and fits our model down to a tee. He is known for bringing through young talent and player attacking, high-tempo football. He would be a very good and also realistic appointment.
Reading Sousa's wiki he seems very much our sort of manager, doesn't stick around long aswell so maybe some people know more than we do with the betting.
Sorry to say but there's a number on that list, mainly English / British that if they got the job, I'd give up.
I never read anywhere, apart from this board strangely, that he had a reputation for attacking football. I think the young players thing came from the fact he helped bring through Hazard, rather than it being something he did often.
Pretty sure Henry was always very complimentary about him whenever we were on Sky, said he helped him a lot as a youngster.
I recall him being complimentary but Henry left Monaco in 1999. Claude Puel became manager in 1999. So I wouldnt think he was the one who brought him through.
