If he comes, I think it will an acceptable appointment. I've read good things about him and as he's relatively low profile, no one will get carried away with their expectations. His struggles at Bristol City are worth considering but its also worth considering that in this country we often tar a manager forever if he has one failure or one sacking. This doesn't happen in places like Italy- people like Marcello Lippi, Carlo Ancelotti, and Giovanni Trapattoni got sacked several times but all went on to have lots of success with big clubs. So McInnes doing **** at Bristol City doesn't necessarily mean he'll do **** with us.

Nobody is getting on his back, on this forum, as far as I can see?

People aren't just blowing smoke up his arse, some posters are expressing doubts about him which seem justified. I haven't seen anybody getting on his back, though.

Whereabouts have you seen people getting on the guys back?
not necessarily this sight I've read on other sights it's all doom and gloom it's not Mcinnes fault were ****

For me he is an unknown quantity, basically no ****er knows nowt about him except the Bristol City project..

People learn their trade, get to grips and right their wrongs as the PC brigade tell us (****ing idiots)..

I hope it works for us as a club and him as a manager, after Moyes I'd have ****ing Julian Clary bringing them out on matchdays..

He has a beard ffs, he must have the balls and skill to wear one..<ok>

Joe wouldn't want to see his meat and 2 veg on match days, put me right off the bovril and baltie that would

Not a managerial appointment that's going to set the pulse racing but to be fair he looks to have been one of the better managers that we could of realistically hoped to have gotten. Most of the alternatives seemed to have been those with no managerial experience or the same **** names linked to most jobs.
He's done well up at Aberdeen and built a team for next to nothing, probably taking them as far as they can go so I think he's worth taking a chance on. Hope he's enjoyed his holiday because he's got a big few weeks ahead to build a team to compete for the start of the season, I just hope he tries to get the lads playing some more attacking football because last year was just unbearable.

Pearson got lucky with a good backroom team, he was ****e without Andrex at Derby, a man of the moment and lives on that now..

To many of these one trick ponies around, Paul Lambert springs to mind, clubs were tossing themselves over this dude a few years ago..

Anyway, Pearson looks like Theresa May without the lippy, strong and stable with a few kangaroos chucked in.. ;)
As a lifelong Tory voter, you've just ruined her for me as a ****, ya bastard <grr>

I'm might try that. I play snooker regularly and I'm getting abit conscious about the little parting the cue causes in my beard. A shave and a new hobby could be on the cards :emoticon-0140-rofl:

We are what was made my friend, darts is cool, a board, a handful of sharp objects, throw them and get a good score. Bring a cue by all means, I always admire a man that keeps his cue close..

My cue now is to shut the **** up but just to say, when the going gets tough then have a laugh on here..<ok> No offence intended my man..

Does a mean solo Mexican wave... ;)

Whatever you want to call it mate..<ok>

She's evil, she will break your heart, make you do stupid things in your head and **** like that..

Vote Jeremy and really piss her off, she will want to know you then, tell her you are strong and stable and you ****ing hate relationships of chaos.. ;)

He'll be proud to be at Sunderland, something Moyes obviously never was.

I'll want him to totally commit to the club, move to the area and ask the players to do the same.

I'll want him to build a team, not assemble a collection of players.

And, above all, I'll want him to connect the players to the supporters and thereby the club.

We need to feel we're all in the same boat ..... no matter how leaky <laugh>
What I want more than anything else is a rousing first speech to lift everybody and that will do me.

£1m for a no mark manager! The only record he ever broke in the championship was Bristol City's longest ever run of defeats!

This is a truly inspiring appointment, proved he could manage the 3rd biggest team in Scotland which might as well be semi-pro. To be fair though you will do well to convince him to take the step down!
Agree with all that mate<ok>
