On his display today, I doubt we would consider signing Dele, if he wasn't already with us.

Eriksen with a penalty against Kazakhstan, although nowhere near as emphatic as Janssen's "**** you" from the spot

Also worth noting, he was playing in the midfield pivot in the game, rather than the attacking trio as he does for us - and he was dictating tempo in that role, as demonstrated by setting in motion that plays that led to Denmark's other goals

It was a 10th of June performance.
The season started in August and Rashford was still playing club football on 24th May!!
Rest is vital for 19 year old players - he's probably still growing! But he's had none.

Obviously being a spurs fan I only see Rashford on match of the day in highlights but from what I have seen this season he doesn't look any thing special. And someone mentioned the other day he has played 50 odd games for utd but his goal return was abysmal correct me if I'm wrong <doh>

53 games, the most of any United player this season.
His goal return reflects his position played so is pretty good over all.

Nice to see the BBC pundits appreciating Josh Onomah's performance. He's playing deeper than he's played for us in very much a Mousa Dembele type role. That's his true position and I'm not sure that playing him further forward will do him any good next season and hope that he can get enough football to continue his development in a position where we are already very well stocked.

KWP continues to remind me of Chris Hughton, which is about as big a compliment as I can give a young fullback. Well played young man!

He's been fantastic again today. I am amazed he gets stick on here from some quarters. He's a great prospect. Not everyone can break through at 18 or 19. It's easier for forwards and possibly full backs. Central midfield or defence is a position for strength and experience.

    Superb achievement for the U20's.

KWP was magnificent. Onomah started quietly but grew into the game. I was very impressed by that Arsenal player Maitland-Niles (sp?)

    <applause><applause><applause>

Any way we can just scrap the entire senior team ahead of the Euros and just take this lot instead? Confident, quick, one-touch football with Spurs-esque movement throughout the side.

Endless injury time, but they held on. England win a World Cup. Who'd have thought it?
Well done to all of the players, but it's great that we had a couple out there, too.
Should be a big boost for Onomah and Walker-Peters, as they head off to the summer break.

Ronaldo Lucena, their set-piece taker, is still contracted to a Venezuelan club called Zamora.
I doubt that'll be the case for much longer.
Here's one of his free-kicks, for anyone that didn't watch the game:

Penaranda, the dangerous, skillful attacker who had his penalty saved, is a Watford player, oddly.

Can someone post a clip of Onomah's howitzer that hit the bar? It was tasty with a capital T.

He's not the finished article. Harry Kane has become a very good player at a young age, but at 19 he was going round a number of clubs in the lower leagues without setting the world on fire.
He's not benefited from the turgid way Utd played for most of the season.
He's not benefited from playing out of position - as a wide player/inside forward rather than at centre forward.
He's not benefited from Ibrahimovic playing that role of centre forward and being the focal point of the time, particularly given that Ibra lacks pace now and was a major factor in Utd adopting a style of play which was not suited to Rashford's skills.
He's shown that he has great pace and energy. He can frighten teams when he runs directly at defenders with the ball or in behind them without it - the game against Chelsea was a good example of that. He has shown a good eye for goal, but he's had make chances for himself as he hasn't often played as a main striker with players around him creating chances for him.
