I just worry about the number of players we're going to need to sign. We're going to need probably 5-6 new defenders alone. If we want to go up we'll really need more than just Hernandex up front since we don't have people like Diame and Snodgrass to carry the attack this time. I can't see us signing the sheer quantity we're going to need. Let alone signing them in good time.

On the other hand, it gives the new gaffer the ability to bring in who he wants. If we had Marco in charge, it wouldn't have bothered me at all. With Slutsky, I don't know enough about him

I just think whoever is in chartge it's a big ask. I can't see Ehab sorting out a doezn transfers in a summer, I'm even less confident that it'll happen in good time before the season starts and even if it is all managed well, losing and signing that many players has got disaster written all over it. Not many clubs replace half their squad in one window and make a success of it.

Good thing we're getting in a DoF to handle transfers then.

Hopefully we'll have a DOF so Ehab can take a back seat. It all depends really, I've thought for some time that the squad needs a shake up
