Labour still a front for Momentum IMHO. That's how JC survived the PLP front-bench resignations and votes of no confidence. Tories making it incredibly hard to vote for them, though. I mean, fox-hunting in the manifesto at this moment in time? Honestly, I despair. I now believe the Tories and Labour are both a pile of ****e. Fortunately, a mate of mine is standing as an independent :)

Ir the Tories win, RAW, it might just be because of that monumental waste of oxygen, Diane Abbott. Her only qualification seems to be having shagged JC back in the day...

Tories still on for a large majority sadly..

I think they'll win but they've allowed it to get too close. I'll repeat, May doesn't know what she's doing. Hague, probably the worst opposition leader this country has ever had. Davis, still slated by his own party from his pathetic leadership campaign. Boris Johnson? Don't need to say anything about that clip of a man.

Cameron was a **** but at least he had his head more screwed on and still ran the country into the ground, these ****ers are like a cabinet of nice but dim Tims. It's ****ing scary

Abbott can be replaced, but the Tories has a cabinet crammed with top draw numpties.

Probably the best in my lifetime! He monstered Blair in PMQs so much, Blair cut them back! Didn't do him any good in the election, like, but there it is...

May and the Tories have had a disastrous election campaign and a disastrous record in government. However, I sadly believe that the right wing mainstream media will ensure a Tory victory with their brainwashing of the masses.

He didn't cost, he made promises which didn't add up and he couldn't back up and became known as a complete question dodger. Laughing stock.

Haven't read all the posts, so I don't know what you've said about DA. But Hague was a lot better than you're painting him, no doubt in my mind. As for the current bunch, it's hard to disagree with the way they've been carrying on....

Hope or Despair?

For the record I never voted for Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the Labour Party and strongly opposed his ‘off the cuff talks’ with terrorist groups such as Hamas and the IRA. However, after listening to all what he has said on these subjects, and he has met the onslaught of the predominantly Tory mainstream media head on regarding this, I do believe that he did talk to these people for honourable reasons in order to try and develop common ground for peaceful settlements.

As for this election, all the Tories are offering is more of the same, which has seen local government, police and fire services cut to the bone, whilst the deficit has doubled and the rich have had tax cuts. There is nothing of hope that the Tories are offering and just repeat the slogan “Strong and Stable” which means absolutely nothing..

As for UKIP, I hear people saying they are the only ones who will secure our borders. In reality, when questioned, even they admit that immigration is absolutely essential for the nation. What they fail to tell us is as massive advocates of the free and open market they will go for the cheapest option for foreign labour, which in reality means with the end of people coming over from the EU, we will get the cheaper option of workers coming from Africa and Asia. I somehow don’t think this is what the majority of UKIP supporters actually want! I also hear people saying that UKIP are the only party to save our children and grandchildren’s future! They are a party full of climate change deniers for goodness sake and would pull out and reverse all of the schemes and agreements for renewable energy and carbon reductions. This poses a far greater long-term danger to our offspring than terrorism ever will.

The SNP are a one trick pony independence party and a vote for them is in essence helping the Tories stay in national government. No more to be said really.

Labour, however, are offering a total change of direction, and will increase taxes to those that can afford it to invest in our infrastructure and services. Will it be a resounding success? Who knows, but at least it is a change of direction from the utterly failing policies of our current government.

This is why I will be voting Labour this Thursday as I believe they are the party of hope as opposed to despair, but regardless of your politics, if you are my friend today you will still be my friend on Friday morning, as my friendship transcends politics..

At least Raw is running a better campaign than the Tories.

I'm not bothering voting. I'm traditionally a labour voter, but politics has been put in a blender recently and I just dont know what to make of it. Things arent as black and white (or red and blue) anymore. Besides I'm from old coalfields of North West Durham, Labour could dig up Jimmy Savile and place him as leader and they would still win here.

Corbyn

Would negotiate with terrorists!

Just as well he wasn't" PM on Sunday.

He didn't say that. This has been part of the problem with the Tory campaign, While May has shied away from running a proper campaign, people like you have stepped in desperately trying to twist words.

He said he's not comfortable with shoot to kill(me to, I'd rether they faced up to their actions rather than be given a quick and painless way out) and would perfer it not get to that stage. If you'd paid one ounce of attention to anything he's said in this matter, is that he wants to help settle things in the middle east by doing things like stop selling arms to countries in the area and by negotiating with countries(not terrorists) about bring peace to the region. He has not said at any point that he would negotiate with Terrorists. You're seriously lacking credibility now fella. Any fool knows ISIS can't be negotiated with. <doh>
