False, true, very true, questionable, true.
Yet to really prove himself after just half a season of decent performances.

I'm not too sure either. Watched a lot of them last season and he was bang-average. There's no question he has improved this season but on the rare occasion I watched him play (usually when they played Spurs), I still couldn't see what all the fuss was about. And as you've correctly pointed out, it's one thing performing at a high level for the first half of the season. It is something else entirely maintaining that form when the fixtures start piling up and the legs start to turn to jelly. £50m for 3 decent months of football is an awful lot. But then again, if John Stones is "worth" that amount...
To my mind, your glaring weak spots are at LB and DM. You've got a bunch of very, very decent CM's at Anfield but none of them hold a candle to the likes of Kante or Wanyama in terms of shielding the defense.

Bought him for £10m I think.....................soooooo...............£26.07How much Moreno worth?.

£12m?Bought him for £10m I think.....................soooooo...............£26.07![]()
3 decent months
He wasn't bang average last season btw![]()

Crazily, if he goes back to Spain we will probably get our money back, or the bulk of it anyway.£12m?
Something around that
admittedly i've only seen him in these games & he has been playing behind a front 2 but yes ordinary is probably correct adjective. Is he very ordinary?
To those questioning whether us spending £50m on VVD and £35m on Salah means we can't spend elsewhere on a LB and CM need to have another look.
Thats £85m. We'll recoup around half of that on player sales in Moreno, Sakho alone probably. Add in the negative net spend last summer and should have decent kitty lying around. Throw in potential CL money and above all that, we are just outside top 10 clubs in the world in terms of revenue!
We havent gone big in transfers for god knows how long. We've only gone over 30m for anplayer twice! Compare that to everyone were challenging against, even Spurs can match that with Lamela and Sissoko!

We don't talk about that.
revenue is irrelevant only thing that matters is the bottom line & our last 3 sets of accounts show approx £20m profit before tax so hardly built up a warchest. To those questioning whether us spending £50m on VVD and £35m on Salah means we can't spend elsewhere on a LB and CM need to have another look.

We wont talk about him if you don't talk about Carroll!

Plus £43m on Penberto Loldado and Janssen

we can cope with that but mention Ballotelli and may you burn on the coals of hellfire for all timeSo you don't mind if we talk about Downing, Markovic and Benteke?![]()
