The only *slight* thing I would say is where he finds the game so easy, he can be a bit casual at times etc. Wouldn't worry though, it's improved over time and will carry on doing so. In his first season you could tell he was used to spl strikers
But not this season, Klavan will remain fourth pick. Gomez won't have many opportunities this season other than the odd cup game and like many kids before him, he'll be 23/24 before you know it, will be in danger of moving on having had no chances.
VVD is the best player available to buy, it would be a huge signing and instantly improve us. Pay whatever.
Solanke scored the winner in a 1-0 victory for England under 20's against Mexico. Now in the semi finals for the first time in 24 years. Plat Italy next for a place in the final. Shown live on Facebook on Thursday evening if anyone is suffering football withdrawal symptoms now the season is over
I think Lucas and Sakho are both off. Can't see Klavan staying much longer. So I hope Gomez will be the understudy. Lot of potential but understandy rusty since coming back from injury.
What's this kid like? I've heard his name before, as in a talent in the Chav youth teams, but never seen him play (as youth players never get a look in at Chavski ) Is he going to be part of the first team squad next season? Replacing Studge, Origi or Ings?
I'm in no place to question our finances, but we're linked with several transfer which each could smash our transfer records. This could be a very expensive summer. I'm happy getting world class players but hope we don't overextend our finances. That's for accounts to worry about I guess... Bring on the big guns.
He took his goal well. Think he will be more of a challenge to Origi, assuming Sturridge stays. You never know though if he is given a chance and takes it he may become a first team regular. Still very young
If you lot do win the league (or the CL, or whatever) we're claiming half of it, West Ham/1966 style....!
Van Dijk's decision to reject overtures from both City and Chelsea is the most startling example yet of the power of Jurgen Klopp. (Echo) I would also say the power of the CL ...
I have a great deal of respect for Lucas, but he should only play CB if everyone else is dead. I'd expect to see Klavan and Gomez in the cups, because any other game time would be limited (barring injury, of course)
We received £146m in prize and TV money this past season. That's before sponsorship, tickets, reserves of money already in the club and any other funding. PL clubs are loaded. There was a story the other day that Sunderland, finishing last, earned more money from TV (domestic football) than Juventus who obviously won the title.
I know it's all about VVD but Salah if he plays anything like in this video might just add that extra dimension to our attack. I am puzzled who Klopp has spoken to on the striker front as it has been apparent from the onset VVD Keita and Salah are targets...any surprises who he will buy ??
That's what they get for playing in a #fake league Their highest paid club gets about 5 times what the lowest paid earns, in the PL the highest is 1.5 times the lowest People get bored of watching rich teams mug poor ones
Going to city or .Chelsea, he may not be playing regular football.Wise decision for deciding to come to us.
He's been brilliant for Roma and one of the best players in the league. His output is phenomenal for a winger. Him and Mane on the flanks ...
Yes, and if we spend £50m each on three different players it's gone in the summer. (Even without wages being spent). It's a lot of money. I trust we know what we're doing though and look forwards to better talent.
