I’m ****ing angry about this. Yes, ‘we’ can’t prevent every attack from happening but it’s FACT that nearly 20,000 officers have been axed, circa 1,000 Border Agency Staff ,who could check those coming in and out better, have lost their jobs, we’ve had cuts to intelligence services, emergency services – essentially everything that protects us etc etc
We’ve had warnings from the police and defence experts about the consequences of these cuts for years – anyone, please do a quick online search for proof.
Has to be said, those police/emergency services involved seem to be doing a stellar job – but they’re only human and God forbid multiple attacks at the same time.
First copper on scene last night actually tried to stop the 3 of them. Got badly stabbed. Take my hat off . Did his duty and more

One part of one religion is waging an ideological war on the West. They regard Europe and the West as 'crusader' Christian lands and therefore the enemy of Allah. That's why Sweden is attacked as well as France, Britain, Spain, Germany etc.
Our foreign policy, our colonial history, the social disadvantage of some Muslims are an irrelevance.
These terrorists are not out for revenge, they are doing it for Allah and striking against his 'enemies' and our decadent unislamic lifestyle.
They're not bothered if we're 'divided' or not, 'standing strong' or 'fighting back with hashtags' - they hate what they see as our debauched, corrupt, unislamic way of life, and want to replace it with a European caliphate.

The 'they' you write about is not Islam; rather, it is a perversion of what I understand to be a religion of peace (no - I'm not the slighteat bit religious).
