I can see the sense in that deal, if there's actually any truth in it.
Ship out Moreno, bring in Clichy for nothing and go after a young fullback to learn from him.
They've got a few areas that need strengthening and that's definitely one of them.

Me too. Liverpool don't have much history of bargain buys but they need half a dozen or more first team ready options and don't have the funds of Citeh or United.

Bringing in Solanke is another sign of a different path from old Liverpool of sizeable transfer fees and wages for average players. Not everyone has to be a star, the odd journeyman is no bad thing.

Spurs now rated as the 10th most valuable club in Europe at a value of £1.01bn euros.
    Utd top at £3.09bn euros.
6 of the top 10 are English reflecting the value derived from high broadcasting income.
No wonder these foreign owners want to buy English clubs.

I didn't expect to see Leicester in that list.

With new WHL coming + Levy running the club, I very much doubt it.

Is it going to be any bigger than the new ones for Chelsea and Liverpool?

No new "Levy" will be bigger than the one Spurs has.

Sorry me but I have to disagree with us on this point.

Spurs are definitely a club on the up, they have some great players and play a style of football which, coupled with the success it's starting to bring, will boost their international fan base dramatically.
On top of that they are building a great new ground, together with the fore mentioned this will help boost their marketing value. They could even sell naming rights to a stand or two short term whilst retaining White Hart Lane as the name of the ground (this last bit is a must given location as the new ground will actually overlay part of the old so, not really a move just a massive upgrade).

I could see them making top 6 within a few years if they keep on the same track.

Ahead of who? Liverpool and Chelsea aren't going to be overtaken that I can see. Liverpool make money from their army of 9bn worldwide fans. City and Chelsea just keep winning big trophies. Arsenal? Can't see it unless the **** really does hit the fan for years and years and years. Juve maybe. Arsenal MAYBE if Wenger hangs around beyond his two years and really ruins us.

Won't happen overnight but I can see it happening, how long ago would you have predicted City to be in 5th spot in that table.

I just looked at the KPMG method used to calculate the EVs.
Spurs current valuation is based on old WHL, current popularity / UEFA revenues.
Just from that data you can see there is massive scope for increases
    in all aspects.
