You seem to be heavily linked with Keita so a good chance, I would be surprised if you don't get serious competition for VvD though (unless his injury is really limiting).

I'm surprised we're heavy favourites to sign VVD tbh. For bookies to stop taking bets surely must mean something!

I thought he'd be Man City bound.

The seemed lack of interest from City has surprised me too, he would fit right in with what Pep wants from his defenders, good control and ball playing skills, good in the air, great position wise and a threat going forward, not to mention fast.
I would love him in our team next to Bailly but think Jose is looking for another destroyer or maybe a fit Rojo with a good DM in front of them.

We didn't have to sell him, we could have given in to a kids demands to play ahead of senior professionals when he had shown zero reason to do so but we didn't.
Maybe you will have to make that kind of choice one day, lets see how it goes :emoticon-0100-smile
Think you were right first time round. <ok>

I reckon it's early money myself and the player won't be fit to do a medical til July so its idle money predicting what clubs have not decided upon.

If it were real there's no reason the deal would not be done almost immediately.

So far, so do I <ok>
He's an odd one. Maybe he'll come good, but he's been a real disappointment so far (for you obviously - we're loving it).
The price tag isn't his fault, of course, but even if he'd cost £20m you'd be wondering what the fuss had been about, he's just looked so ordinary.

I can honestly say he has looked only slightly better than the kid we let go.
I like to think I am a decent judge of young players (I know this won't go down well with many on here), not many have proved me wrong so far from any team. I really hope Pogba kicks my arse in the near future.

Joel Pereira, Scott McTominay, Josh Harrop, Demi Mitchell and Joe Riley.
All of them have had 1st team league games this season (some as starters).

EDIT
Missed Angel Gomez off that list, youngest ever player for United in the league.
And he promoted Matty Willock to first team squad at the start of the season :emoticon-0100-smile

Sticking kids on the bench when you have no squad is not quite the same as promoting youth <ok>

What would you have done with Pogba when he refused to sign a contract? I was against getting him back for the price we paid because I had never seen him control a game, still haven't. That said, he has a good 10 years or more to prove me wrong, if he does that what do you think he would have cost in another 4/5 years with the way the market is going :emoticon-0100-smile
<laugh> <laugh> Just had a quick look and all those players you mentioned played their 1 and only game - the game v Palace when Mourinho was saving the 1st team for the EL final. Gomes got a whopping 5 minutes <laugh>

Just by comparison local youngsters TAA had 7 games for us, Woodburn 5.
