You're the man Scuba, look forward to seeing your work.

Just think plain black is a bit too high contrast, personally.

I only done it plain black because the liverpool one was mentioned. which is plain black (or near enough anyway).

OK I dont like this at all, but i am getting annoyed with myself, and getting tired as well, and if i keep on doing this, i will just throw the PC out the window (or uninstall photoshop and never touch it again) but this is what i have come up with so far, I really detest the background tbh.

Think that's getting there mate, of course the forum box would cover the gap at the bottom and finish it off, would help if the other lads helped us out a bit.

I'd say you need both badges 'solid' as they are mismatched with one opaque, but i think that'll look good.

Scuba Steve is a character of the Adam Sandler film 'Big Daddy', my good pal Steve had had it for years, i guess it's habitual like!

    Yeah its a right PITA.

The technical side i can do, its just getting the composition correct, but in all honesty, website banners should be as minimalistic as possible, 1meg banners (the size of all the ones i have done) is just silly. and its hard to not make it look like a signature as well.

Its this forum though (honest) the banners are huge, far too big if you ask me, but the window that you actually see is tiny.

You have the header at the top which obscures 1/5th of it, and you hve the opaque white underneath which obscures 2/5th of it, you only have 2/5ths to actually work with. (that members can see properly) and then you have the width problem, 1924 width monitors great, 1200 errr, 800 AHHHH!.

But its been football day today, so had a break, football day tomorrow as well though so probably have a break then. I am also learning PHP/MYSQL for my site, which should take priority (but isn`t)

Ok, I know i cant please everyone, but i am quite happy with this, but some of you will hate it, but thats life.

I did have Monty instead of Gordon making part of his double save in the FA Cup final, but all images i could find were very small, and very very poor quality, and when I expanded him, he just looked ****, nothing against monty, just the quality of the images, so you have gordon instead.

The swirly stuff is just a very high quality Background i had on my PC from ages ago, I just think it goes very well with the cats eyes. Stadium on the left, Penshaw monument on the right (didnt need explaining but meh may as well).

Gordon making a save, and larsson scoring against Liverpool at the weekend, but its made to look like Larsson has had the shot, and its either flying past Gordon or Gordon has saved it.
