Just hilarious how the massive team that will shatter the glass into a thousand pieces have realised that they are no different to the likes of us, West Brom or West Ham.
If they are serious about breaking the glass ceiling then they will keep him for one more year at least
He holds all the cards. Just keep on turning down their contracts until they offer really stupid numbers. And if they don't, then leave. Or even if they do, then accept and leave anyway (albeit maybe not for another year).
Everton offered 20 million for Gabby in the summer, but were turned down. Koeman has said recently that Manolo has had a good start, but only time will tell. Sour grapes I think.
Spend big in the summer (like they were planning to anyway apparently) and see if they can break top 4 next year and offer him new deal then. They aren't massively far away from being a top 4 side now, new keeper and centre backs and they have a shot. Reckon they will get Keane from Burnley who I think would be a good signing for anyone in the Prem
