Gabbiadini is a very different type of player to Lukaku. Which would get in first? I think actually on current form that's a very close call. Lukaku has the ability to be unplayable and single handedly win a game, but chance to conversion rate I reckon Gabbiadini is better.

Gabbiadini has started very well but let's not even debate whether he is better than Lukaku! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Talking of Everton, today's win for Spurs has - in all likelihood - won the blues a European place next season. For WBA (or any team for that matter) to finish 7th, they surely couldn't have afforded to lose to Everton yesterday. Looks like that is the top seven (in whatever order) wrapped up now, and on that basis 7th place will be a EL qualifying place now that Boro, Millwall and Lincoln are out.

Good goal that to be fair. First view thought it should of been saved but on replay was a great shot.

I think Liverpool in general are quieter when Origi or Sturridge play. They occupy the space that otherwise Mane, Firmino and Coutinho would utilise. Both guys can score, but neither are exactly Zlatan or Aguero or Kane. So they almost do more harm than good.

Slightly similar with Arsenal I guess, where if you remove Giroud, suddenly Sanchez shines (and Theo, to an extent).

It was a good goal. Fraser would have been slaughtered though if against us.

Can't speak for others but I certainly wouldn't.

Like I say, at first glance I thought it was poor goalkeeping, but realised when I watched it again that the shot was more powerful and precise than I originally gave it credit for.

Liverpool beating Burnley does mean that Burnley haven't overtaken us, which would have been the case if Burnley had won. So every cloud has a silver lining.

On a separate note, Lovren didn't even make the bench for Liverpool, although he is reportedly fit again. Imagine that - not even being good enough for Liverpool's defence - how the big-headed has fallen :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Nice sentiment, but Lovren picked up another injury.
