People I listened to on 5live this morning and on the news were talking about it in terms of being the greatest comeback 'in football'. Yes in the champions league it is the most goals overturned but it is not a more impressive comeback than the Liverpool/ AC Milan final.

It's a hell of a lot more impressive than the Liverpool vs AC Milan final. Listen to what you're saying.

Needing 5 goals to win, being 3-0 up with 20 minutes left, conceding then needing to get another 3. Two of which they get in stoppage time.

It's not even up for debate. It's the single greatest comeback in European football history.

I appreciate that not many people like Barcelona but what they did last night was utterly staggering. The two passes from Messi and Neymar to win the game is why they're worth hundreds of millions.

I've decided that I actually hate them more than TWS.

Yeah I know, amazing...

It's not even their fault really. It's not jealousy or hating whoever wins, as they don't dominate as some teams have in the past - they've never even retained the European Cup / UCL in their entire history. It's just the media ****fest over them. That scene last night of supposedly impartial pundits celebrating makes me feel bilious.

It's not the biggest comeback - Bayer Uerdingen vs Dynamo Dresen, 1985/86 (0-2, 7-3) - Dynamo led 5-1 on aggregate at half time, but Uerdingen scored six goals in the last half hour to progress.

Neither of them are as good as the Liverpool comeback, simply because it was in the Champions League final.

And they were at home with a massively partisan crowd - and ref - supporting them, which the media seems to be conveniently ignoring. Liverpool scored 3 goals after being 3 down on neutral ground, in the final.

They are ****ing cheats helped by dodgy refs. Bit like Vardy really.

I celebrated when Aguero scored the title winner vs QPR. I don't support Man City and I don't particularly dislike United or QPR. I celebrated the fact that it was utterly mental.

Nobody has retained the trophy since the European Cup changed it's formatting to The Champions League. Forest were the last to retain it nearly 40 years ago.

You're letting this weird hatred get in the way. Barcelona's side around 2008-2012 was sensational and they've still got a decent number of those players at the club. When they turn it on, you can't stop them.

I understand that it's on a neutral ground but Barcelona needed to score 6 against a side that beat them 4-0 two weeks ago to win and they did in 90 minutes.

The impressive thing with Liverpool is that they held their nerve and did it in the final. Don't get me wrong, fabulous achievement. One of the Sport's "where were you when" moments but last night comfortably tops it.

Why are PSG any worse than Man City or Chelsea? Or Inter with the Suning Group proposing to spend £300m on players in the summer? At least they had recent success before the foreign money flowed in.

Kind of irrelevant but why is this a factor? Seems a bit elitist.

BCC thought Milan were wonderful when they were one of the richest clubs in the world as it wasn't nasty foreign money, it was good old Italian money, that of the crook Berlusconi.

I literally have no idea what you're talking about now. I wasn't the one criticising foreign money, I was defending it.

Gone a bit Nigel Tufnell have we?
